I was in Hurghada in October 2020, and went to the downtown Orange Mobile store to purchase a phone/message/internet plan. The young lady that helped me 'pick out' a plan for my 10 day stay wrote down on a piece of paper the plan and the cost. When she printed the Contract, in Arabic ONLY, I reluctantly signed it being that I couldn't understand word one. My reluctance was justified, being that after I left I received several welcome messages from Orange M., in Arabic of course, that I had someone from the Hotel translate to myself and it was then that I realized that I had been lied to, a classical example of 'Bait & Switch'. What the salesperson (the young lady) promised and the plan for the internet data that I received bore no resemblance whatsoever. Young lady told me about plans and I have picked 45gb for 20EUR. I gave passport and signed contract. Documents and passport were scanned and young lady also photographed them by phone (not sure why). Everything worked correctly and we tested internet. On a way out I have asked if I need to take some document copy of a contract but none was given.
Now I have found the way to check internet balance and saw that the actual package is GO 260 with 18GB+30min. And of course I don’t have documents to file complaint.
