WARNING: This is NOT a Resort – Avoid at All Costs! Our stay at this so-called resort was an absolute nightmare. I have never encountered such poor conditions in a hotel before, and I strongly advise anyone considering it to look elsewhere. Facilities & Accommodation: The entire property is severely outdated, dirty, and has an unpleasant smell throughout. We were assigned a family room facing the street, which turned out to be a disaster. After 4 PM, the street becomes extremely noisy, with non-stop honking and traffic that lasts well into the early hours of the morning. Sleeping was nearly impossible. The window frames were so old and ill-fitted that they left large gaps, allowing all the noise and heat from outside to come in – it literally felt like sleeping on the street. Food: Bland, repetitive, and uninspired. Every day we were served the exact same meals: rice, fried fish, fried chicken, a limited salad bar, and the same two fruits – melon and dates – every single day. We stayed for 10 days and saw no variation whatsoever. Beach Area: The beach is tiny, overcrowded, and very poorly managed. There are not nearly enough sunbeds for all guests, and unless you wake up at 6:00 AM to reserve one, you’re out of luck. The sunbeds are packed tightly together – side by side with barely any room to walk between them. People in the back rows couldn’t even reach the sea without stepping over others. Constant Harassment: You cannot relax for a moment without being disturbed. Around 8 different hotel or external staff roam the beach and pool area all day long, trying to sell excursions to Cairo, diving trips, safaris, massages, “medical services,” and more. It was endlessly annoying and invasive. Customer Service: Frankly, the service was appalling. Staff were indifferent at best, and at times even rude or dismissive. There is no hospitality, no care for guest comfort, and no effort to resolve issues. In Summary: This is NOT a resort. It’s a run-down hotel with substandard facilities, terrible food, poor service, and zero peace or comfort. Do not be fooled by the photos or description online – they are wildly misleading. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday, you won’t find it here. Stay far away.

The hotel offers great value for money in a downtown location. Unfortunately the room (#271) allocated to me upon arrival at 4am (yes, I'd paid for arriving the previous day) was possibly among the worst in the hotel. The décor was basic and dated, but worst f all, the view from the balcony was of the building opposite and there was a noisy metal staircase used by employees within arms reach. It provided no privacy and the air conditioning unit would draw up smells of frying oil from the restaurant downstairs. One reason for choosing the Bella Vista was because I had read elsewhere about it's 24-hour all-inclusive concept. Unfortunately, this is not entirely true. You may be able to get a coffee upon arrival at 4am but alcohol is only served during the somewhat limited hours of 11am until 11pm. What other hotels have as standard, this hotel charges extra for. An example is that the safety deposit box in the room is locked and costs $3 per day to unlock/use. The beach is small and the sunloungers have little space between them. Most front/last line loungers get reserved quite early on. The best thing about Bella Vista Resort is the quality of food and it's two Al la carte restaurants – one Oriental, one Italian. Fortunately I was able to experience both Al La Carte restaurants, the Italian was a little hard to make a reservation but when you realise the prime location of the hotel and that both restaurants have to be available to outside guests and those at Bella Vista not on an all-inclusive package it's not surprising that they can't use all the tables for non-paying guests. I may return but I'd ensure I didn't arrive at 4am when there may be more rooms to choose from. Finally, I'd like to thank Mohamed who made me Whisky Sours at the Beach Bar, Ramadan and Azab in the lobby bar, Mohamed in the Oriental Restaurant, Kareem in the Italian and Hassan in the main restaurant.

Resort with a great garden. Rooms outdated but clean as it could be for that region. Sultana restaurant offer a solid food choices. Nobody can stay hungry. A lot of variety. Security at the entrance of the hotel, and on the beach. Sea is so hot that you wish to be cooler few degrees to refresh yourself. A small corals and fishes are offer an entertaintment for a swimmers for snorkling. Great sand. Parasols are in the early morning occupied half of them in 5.30. For a tips ( Russians) they had every day a place next to the sea. Several cats on the small beach, sometimes occupiing towels;( They should be removed. Some people simply does not like to lay down on cats hair). On the left side of the hotel is building site. On the right side, along the fence dividing area for every single hotel, is a beach where was only Arabs. Hundreds of them screaming all day, with 5-6 kids, swimming in toe to head wardrobe. Completely covered. Cultural diferencies. On Bella Vista resort beach, viceversa, people barelly covered in swimming s, quite place, nobody bothering you, safe to leave your possesions, to go to lunch. The place is covered with video surveliance, and is safe. Some rooms has terrace, some does not. Overalll, decent modest plase with no luxury but contains everything what you need on vacation except if you are spoiled. Everyone was polite. They have aHealt club offering spa treatments, facials. The price are negotiable. Great Cleopatra treatment and Fatima the masseur.

Ok, I didn't know where to start so how about the controversies people talk about in the reviews and will clear them all up for everyone! Because it almost made us not book this hotel..||||- First of all, cocktails are free. Alcoholic and non alcoholic, the ones they list that are included in all inclusive and by Christ are they strong! If you want a PINT of beer, bring your own mug I guess, cause they do cups. If you want anything else made with other ingredients, of course you have to pay! ||||- Ice cream IS free between 2 and 4pm at the paradise bar, beside the beach past the kids clubhouse||||- The food is good. There are so many options and you have food constantly available all day! The burgers and chips and cold sandwiches by the pool between 2 and 4 are banging. Breakfast is amazing! Fresh waffles, crepes, fruit, salads, yoghurt, omelettes fried eggs, croissants, pastries, bread, cereal. If you complain about the breakfast, seriously, eat a leaf.||||- Pool bar DOES open at 11am - but you can get your own soft drinks and coffee from there if you wish! There is always fresh water by the pool in 2 machines. ||||- No cups in your room, so bring a coffee mug if you want one in the morning or evening or whatever.||||- Caribbean bar and La Luna restaurant is owned by the hotel, BUT THEY DO MAKE FOOD TO ORDER hence why you must pay. But it isn't much. If the manager ever approaches you to try a fine dining experience, do it! It was amazing! Quiet,, intimate, 3 lots of entertainment,, bottomless crabs, lobster, calamari, kofta, steaks. You name it! We paid £20 for both of us and left 800 Egyptian tip. ||||- The spa here is phenomenal. The staff are exceptional. Tarek is a star and his female colleague who promotes the facials (I'mm sorry, I forgot your name!) took great care of us. Their massages and facials are something else and worth the money||||- ALWAYS ask to pay in Egyptian. It's like 56 Egyptian to the pound and there's an atm across the street outside the hotel that for £56 you get 4000 egyptian.||||- Don't buy from the guys in the shops there. Tried to rip me off on cigarettes that were Chinese made. Got 600 proper cigarettes for £50 total. Negotiate with everyone! 00 Egyptian for a statue is a rip off!||||- Yes, it is flooded with Germans. I had a few run ins with a few Germans and I can honestly say I didn't back down, got bullied rest of my holiday for sticking up for myself but I guess, can't ruine my holiday, they just ruined their own!||||- Animation team were amazing! They have their 10am dance, yoga, aqua aerobics, volleyballs, sand games and when we were there they had a foam machines, floaties out, water balloons. After entertainment at night, ask them about clubbing. They will take you for very cheap money to the best clubs in Hurghada includes transport and drinks etc. Honestly, most fun we had. Only thing is, one of the guys was a bit weird.. he kept leaching onto young girls and I guess if you're on holiday to have fun have fun. But it started becoming a comedy routine watching him and this girl completely mess with eachother. Shout out to Achmed, Luca and Alina

I literally don't know where to start. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, but not for the usual reasons. ||||The absolute worst holiday ever which led to me requesting to leave and be transferred to a different hotel... But we'll come to that||||1. This is NOT all inclusive. The reviews on here are absolutely right. I've never once been in a hotel that has tried to extract money at every opportunity possible. It's like they get paid to literally p*ss people off. There's a guy walking around 15 hours a day trying to sell upsells to the Al la carte. 7 euros a head. Fair enough until you realise that nothing on the menu comes close to that price particularly, so you're actually just paying for the "guitarist" or entertainment which they put on. We then get approached to say that if we want to go to the outside BBQ at the pool and watch the entertainment one night, it would be £45 for my family. Excuse me?? |||| 2. The entertainment is non existent. Don't get me wrong the 4 ents members work hard, but it's obvious they're limited. We're fairly well travelled and I've literally seen nothing like it. One night was a raffle, because of course, they had to make more money some how. Karaoke another, and one night people obviously saw how terrible it was and they couldn't do their planned show. They even allowed a Czech dance group to perform for the night who were on holiday and were extremely poor. Words cannot literally convey how annoyed I was having 2 children with me. |||| 3. The food was average at best. My son barely ate all week. Very samish, not cooked that well. Quite repetitive. ||||4. The sellers. There are around 8 of them who consistently bother you each day on the sunbeds. ||I then had a run in with one who ran up to me shouting at me because I'd decided to have my hair cut out side the complex and that he'd lost his commission. Hats off to Mo Salah who sells boat trips. He got the message and we had a regular daily chat . ||||5. We went to the Caribbean bar one night. Lovely place, the staff literally ignored us all night. We had 3 drinks as they were fully booked. Not a problem. I asked for the 10 percent hotel discount . It wasn't about the money but we'd had a terrible week so far. All of a sudden the staff couldn't speak English and kept waving the card reader in my face. After some reluctance they agreed but then the cashier ended up shouting at me because I was struggling to remember my room number as we'd not been there long. I asked to speak to reception on the phone so he threw the phone at me. Even though I had a hotel arm band on and room key. ||||6. Everybody was German or Russian. Not a problem but the Germans were the rudest people I've ever met. We'd hold doors open etc all week for not so much as a thanks . Pushing in line, no smiles or wanting conversation. ||||7. The room we booked all of a sudden had construction starting one morning above us on the roof at 7am. We had a view of scaffold and an old alleyway for a room view. I complained and was told there was no construction. All of a sudden 3 hours later they're offering us another room to their credit with a nice sea view. I then spot a man above me on the balcony who looked like an engineer/ construction so I wasn't imagining it. Upon us moving room the hotel VERY sneakily tried to make me sign a disclaimer saying that I was totally satisfied with Bella Vista resort. Well that was it, I was fuming and started kicking off at the reception manager. He tried to tell me is was compulsory to sign. After speaking to the GM, he backed down. ||||Just for the record I've never complained about an all inclusive in my life||||We were charged 15$ for an entertainment tshirt which my son didn't want but felt guilty after they literally put it on him. They then asked for a tip for it! ||||The staff obviously don't like complaints as they all looked like they wanted to murder me. Even though I refused to name names to the general manager. Most people were miserable or just wanting tips . I tip daily no problem, but the second somebody asks for one, nope ||||I went up to my room one day ( after cleaning) to find 2 guys and my door open . Apparently they were "checking on the cleaning " and were management ||||I could go on and on. I saved 3 years to take my boys away and was on the phone to my holiday tour company for 2 days. ||||The wifi is only free in the lobbies .||||Upon checking out, our wrist bands were cut off. ( Never experienced this) ||||As we weren't leaving until 8pm, I was concerned about food and drink for us, especially my diabetic boy. We were given a card for the restaurant for food and drinks||||Silly me thought this would be for all day until we left until we were embarrassed at tea time by being sent out of the restaurant as apparently it didnt apply anymore at that time. ||||On the last day, we were sat on the beach part trying to pass the hours and I was approached 3 times by security because I didn't have an arm bracelet on. They were asking if we were part of the hotel . The same staff who we'd been speaking to ALL 10 days of our holiday!!||||It was the strangest and most surreal holiday of my life. And to top it off the hotel offered me £80 per night refund to move somewhere else. Nothing else in the area came close so we were stuck||||The only plus sides are that the hotel is clean, and Markus did us a great photo shoot priced at around 3$ a picture. He seemed like a really nice guy with no selling whatsoever. I approached him to book||||When I say the list goes on I'm not even kidding. But I'm bored of writing now and I'm sure you are. Feel free to DM me on here if you are considering this place. ||||If you're English, don't even bother. My compensation claim is going in today and I will never...

Where do I start.....I booked a weekend stay at this hotel for 2 people and checked alone due to unforeseen circumstances. My friend was only able to join me the following evening. I was given room 449 which turned out to be next to an elevator. I had a sleepless night because every time the elevator operated the noise in the room was horrendous. The following morning I asked to change rooms because of noise which I was duly done . After this was done I was speaking to a member of staff and was told that room 449 was notorious for people complaining about the noise and wanting to move rooms.

It's a known problem and they persist in still letting this room even when the hotel is not full.

Yes, this is a minor complaint in my eyes.

The fun started when my friend came to check in, they had their child with them who is 8 years old and has severe autism. The child was only there because my friend could not get a sitter for the evening and they had to check in so he was brought along. Whilst checking in the little boy decided to take a little soil from the planter and throw it on the floor. We offered to clean it up but were told it was ok and not to worry. Whilst checking my friend in, there were queries, quite personal questions about our stay together which has nothing to do with the hotel. I had previously explained why the child was here and that it was just 2 adults and the child was staying elsewhere. After this we went to eat in La Luna which is attached to the hotel and the staff in there were brilliant with the child. My friend left with the child to take him home. As I was going back through the reception I was approached by the desk manager who raised a complaint with me over the soil on the floor and asking about me and my friends relationship. He was in my face literally, I was polite throughout this encounter. He then pulled from his pocket a clove and said take this, it is good for the mouth.... I'm a smoker, so I took this as he was implying I had bad breath. He told me that the child was not allowed in because I had not requested a child space even though I had explained the child was not staying and then he would not believe the child had left. My friend never came back because the child would not settle. The following day school was cancelled because of the government election at short notice so my friend asked if the child could come along from 10 until 5 and I said I couldn't see a problem. I went to reception and explained and was told that I would need to return later so I went for breakfast. My friend arrived with their child and joined me for breakfast. The manager approached us whilst having breakfast and told me that I was to come to reception. I explained the situation about the child and his special needs school was closed at the last minute leaving my friend with the child.

I was told because they had sat down to breakfast without his permission I would have to pay for his breakfast and a day pass for him to remain and he was not allowed to go to our room at all even though I paid for his day pass.

The attitude from the management regarding this child was totally disgusting.

In all, with the attitude of staff at this hotel, the letting of inappropriate rooms, poor all inclusive options.

This has got to be my worst ever stay in any hotel in Egypt.

The day is not over so this could be added too.

I would avoid this place...
