Currently staying in the hotel La Rosa Waves. Hotel is located in the very good place in the middle of the city. ||At 11.30 pm engineers are working with hammer and drill on the stairs of aqua park. Obviously it’s very loud. When I came to reception to ask when they gonna finish, receptionist told me it will be at 12. AT MIDNIGHT. Does anyone care that people around are sleeping??? Apart of that he said these are stairs to the second floor of living rooms. On the attached picture it’s clearly visible that’s stairs are not connected to the building, just to aqua park. ||As we’re not interested in any trips or additional activities, we got red flags from a lovely man in towel centre. For those who don’t know, red flag on your umbrella means “do not disturb” so no one of sellers are coming to us with their offers. During first 10 minutes a man from diving centre and a woman from spa directly came to us to present their offers. When I asked if they knew about meaning of red flags, they told me they do. Why would you come to me if I warn you in advance not to come???||Some people told in their reviews before that plates in the restaurant are dirty. It’s true, but it’s possible to find a clean one. It’s getting worse when there are no plates at all and I need to wait for 10 minutes for one and hope it will be clean. After it takes about 20 minutes to wait for fried eggs. Chef is cooking for 347853 Egyptians and doesn’t pay any attention on foreigners even when you’re first in the queue and have ordered your eggs already 5 times. So if you’d like to wait 30 minutes for fried eggs, you’re most welcome to this place. ||On the first day at the beach animator came to me and asked if I want to join morning stretching and come to disco at night. I said that I will go to party with my friends separately from animation team. Then he started to ask who are my friends, why wouldn’t I bring them to party as well, where will I go and when will I come back. I refused to answer his questions as I’m not obliged to report to him. When another animator (very pretty girl) came to us, the guy told her that I’m f**king his mind. How is it possible that someone who’s working with people is using profanity? Any general knowledges about manners or being polite?||So many questions…||It took me 1 hour to write this review so it’s already midnight. Engineers are still making their noises and lovely man at the reception is saying it will take 1...
Read moreWhere to start, this is by far the worst all inclusive holiday I’ve ever been on. I almost feel bad for writing this review, but the false advertisement is crazy.||You CANNOT eat there, the food is inedible, I’ve genuinely never seen anything like it. I’ve also never been to a hotel where you’re harassed by people to buy things whilst sunbathing.||As a woman, leaving the hotel was out of the question due to the location and the harassment from men outside. The staff were friendly, but they were always trying to sell something so the service had an agenda.||The drinks were in shot size cups, again, never had anything like it.||The private beach has a cafe (not included in the all inclusive) and the food was brilliant but choice wore thin near to the end of our stay due to running out of ingredients.||The pool, unusable, the cover is ripped. The rooms, filthy. My feet were black if I didn’t have anything on them. The shower was unusable. The sheets dirty and felt horrific on my skin. Cleaners were in every day, but removing rubbish and making beds, the place has never seen a duster in its life. I stupidly left money in the bedside drawers and 1000EGP was stolen!||The entertainment was non existent. I’ve never experienced anything like it.||There’s a problem with stray cats there too. I was very sad to see so many not receiving proper care. I’m such an animal person and some of the kittens were sick whilst every female was pregnant or had multiple males harassing daily. Distressing to see. I know that can not be managed but considering the hotel is making money off people, maybe they could work with a rescue to get the cats spayed at the very least.||I wouldn’t stay here again if someone paid me.||Worst place...
Read moreReally enjoyed my 5 night stay there. The food was decent, I recommend the salads with tehina sauce, chicken and meats, but avoid the fish and kofta. I think the fish is imported from Vietnam and it didn't taste very good. Not sure why they would import fish when they're right next to the sea. The long pool is a bit heated so it's more comfortable than the layered pool by the DJ.||||The location is amazing for night life, there are many clubs you can go enjoy your night at! Even the resort disco is pretty good too, but you must pay for drinks inside the resort disco. So, get drunk out in the resort first before you head there! =D||||As other's have mentioned in their reviews, there are many shops outside, but I advise you to haggle since some things are very over priced. I found a carton of smokes 210 L.E. at one store and 155 L.E. at Metro super market for example. If you're looking for souvenirs go to El Dahar.||||Don't forget to enjoy the spa it's great and very well priced. I paid 200+ L.E. in Sharm @ the Hilton resort for a massage, but here I paid 150 L.E. for a massage, sauna and steam room. The animation team is great! The stage for their shows is really small though, but over all still enjoyable and I didn't mind it too much.||||The staff were all very kind and caring and even offered to go the extra mile to ensure me and my friends were more than comfortably satisfied. Don't be too shy to kindly ask for a meal after dinner is already over or a fresh cup of tea even though there's a giant thermos full of decent tea. Definitely would recommend this resort to others and would...
