Boulevard O1 — Restaurant in Cairo

The food was decent, but the service left a lot to be desired. We waited 30 minutes just to receive the QR code for the menu, despite asking several servers—each of whom told us to wait and then never returned. Once we finally got the code, we had to wait another 30 minutes just to place our order.

When the food arrived, it was okay, but we were still missing the French fries that were supposed to come with our salad. Those didn’t show up until 20 minutes later. Overall, the amount of waiting was excessive.

If you’re an English speaker, don’t expect smooth communication or great service. After we finished eating, we had to wait again for our takeaway, which would’ve been fine—if we hadn’t already spent the entire visit waiting for everything else.

To top it off, when we asked for the check, the waiter acknowledged us and then disappeared, just like the others. We finally got our takeaway and paid, but the whole experience felt frustrating and exhausting.

As a regular customer of Boulevard, I've had the pleasure of dining at their O1 branch on multiple occasions. Unfortunately, my experiences have been somewhat mixed. While the food is generally quite good, I've encountered some frustrating issues with delays and negligence in fulfilling my order requests.

Additionally, there have been a specific incident that happened last week with one of the Shisha team which we have also communicated with the manager. As someone with particular tastes, I've found this to be quite disappointing and disruptive However, I must commend the manager, Ahmed Asaad, for his handling of these issues. Whenever I've brought my concerns to his attention, he has been very responsive and proactive in resolving the problems. The Boulevard restaurant is truly a gem! We spent several days enjoying breakfast, lunch, and dinner there, and it quickly became our favorite spot. The food is absolutely delicious, and the location adds to the overall charm, making every visit even more enjoyable.

One of the highlights was their shisha, which was a delightful addition to the experience. Eslam, one of the staff members, stood out with his kindness, attentiveness, and friendly demeanor—he made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our time there.
