Sahara Restobar — Restaurant in Gamsha

Unfortunately I can't give them below one star. Service was beyond lousy. We were 12 of us going to watch Spain vs France. There were several empty tables. But we were only allocated a small and a medium table. Once we sat down, they realised that we couldn't fit and they reluctantly added an extra table. Service was beyond slow, but when you see five people behind the bar chatting you tend yo get annoyed. Now there is the whole bill. Once we finished we wanted to leave. Everyone was impatient, because it was very hot and we just wanted to leave. We waited another 15 min for the bill, bear in mind that we are watching them do nothing behind the bar. Our bill adds up to 3700 egyptian pounds. We paid and left. When we got back we realised that there were 7 items that we did not consume on the bill. Approximately 750 pounds. Turkish coffee. Lemon mint. Guava. Sallum shish x2 mineral water and frappe. So if ever you decide to go there DON'T! Egypt is not a country of thieves but Sahara...

Sämsta servicen i Sahara Restobar i El Gouna! Terrible experience and disrespectful staff

I visited this restaurant in El Gouna Marina with my friends for a drink and shisha. I asked clearly to sit next to the water, but the waiter said it was full and promised to move us when a table became free. We waited about 15 minutes - no one brought menus, no one asked what we wanted, even though several tables by the water were empty. The staff were just standing around talking and ignoring us completely.

Then a group of girls arrived - and suddenly the waiters rushed to them, gave them menus immediately, and offered them a table by the water, the same spot we were waiting for. Totally disrespectful and unprofessional behavior.

We left without ordering anything. As tourists, we felt completely ignored and unwelcome. This place has zero hospitality and the staff clearly don’t care about their customers. Very disappointing — I don’t recommend this...
