Nisantasi — Restaurant in New Cairo City

The place is pretty but that’s pretty much the only good thing about it. It wasn’t authentic Turkish food at all. And service was very off.

It started at the beginning when the lady in front kept insisting we give her a phone number. We don’t like sharing our info with anyone and that’s our right. But she kept insisting and for the most random reason “in case we need to call you if you forget something”.

We ordered a salad which came out super salty. When we told them about it, they tried to play it off as “this is how it is”.. no I don’t think salad comes out this salty. It also had something very hard that my husband bit on and they also tried to play it off as the burghul (which should be soft anyway).

The other thing we ordered were the lamb chops. Again, bit into something very hard. And the meat was a bit over cooked. Flavor-wise it wasn’t bad though.

The rice was very greasy.

The Pide bread itself was good but the meat and cheese weren’t impressive at all.

The person taking our order wasn’t the nicest and had a bit of an attitude when we had comments and remarks, as if he took it personally. He also took the tahina plate before we could finish it and he didn’t even ask if we were done with it.

When the manager came, he tried to make it seem like we didn’t understand what the food should be like.

The price did not reflect the value of the food at all. Way overpriced.

It all looks pretty but when it comes down to taste, service and price for value (which are all things a restaurant is built on) it’s a big disappointment.

Wouldn’t go there again...

During my visit to Nişantaşi Restaurant in Cairo Festival City Mall, I had the opportunity to try their Fettuş Salata, Nişantaşi Meze, and Karışık Izgara, and I must say the food was delicious. The Fettuş Salata was fresh and flavorful, with a delightful combination of ingredients that pleased the palate. The Nişantaşi Meze offered a variety of tasty options, showcasing the restaurant's skill in preparing Mediterranean appetizers. As for the Karışık Izgara, it was a highlight of the meal, with a well-grilled assortment of meats that were tender and full of flavor. The restaurant's attention to detail in the presentation and taste of the dishes was evident, and the quality of the food was commendable. However, I found the prices to be a little on the higher side, considering the portion sizes and overall dining experience. While the food was undeniably excellent, it would be more satisfying if it were slightly more affordable. On a positive note, the bread served at Nişantaşi Restaurant was perfect, fresh, and complemented the meal wonderfully. The attentive staff members provided friendly service throughout my visit, further enhancing the dining experience. In conclusion, Nişantaşi Restaurant at Cairo Festival City Mall offers delicious food, particularly the Fettuş Salata, Nişantaşi Meze, and Karışık Izgara. While the prices may be a bit high, the quality of the dishes and the attentive service make it a worthwhile choice for a flavorful...

Staff: very professional, very cooperative and they care about every single detail.

They take the extra mile and if you are happy 99 percent, they will make sure you are happy 150 percent.

Without asking anyone, they change the napkins in the napkin holder.

They offered 2 complimentary teacups only because they felt that the tea with peanuts was not a preferred choice to us. Although we did not complain

Everyone is taking their job seriously and they are so dedicated to what they do.

Food: perfect main courses, with good portions and the strawberry tres leches is a wonderful crumbly balanced combination of sugar, softness and taste.

The Ayrault was wonderful

This is what you call a perfect experience. Their perfect service allowed us as a family to spend great quality time without having to think about anything.
