We stayed at the hotel (Casa De Mar) and tried some of the dishes! The grilled octopus was overcooked/grilled and burned in some parts so not very pleasant to eat! The seafood pasta was, well, ok but not very tasty either! The chicken quesadillas was cheesy and tasty. And one night we also ordered tiramisu but it was just like pouring suger in your mouth, so sweet we couldn’t eat at all! Sunzal Cafe is an absolute gem! The food is excellent, with fresh and flavorful dishes that truly stand out. The lobster and ceviche were particularly outstanding—perfectly prepared and bursting with taste. The wine selection complemented the meal beautifully.

The service was just as impressive as the food. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. On top of that, the location is great, offering a wonderful atmosphere that enhances the experience.

If you’re a fan of surfing, but you’re also a fan of having a great ceviche, this is the right place for you. Here you will have an unmatched view of the El Sunzal wave, where you will have as a spectacle every surfer ride and wipeout while you taste a very decent range of meals from the menu.
