One Wave Surf House — Hotel in Departamento de La Libertad

One Wave Surf House is the best. I will admit it is pricey. I'm not rich by any means and nor is my family. However, dividing and conquer is the name of the game if you have a tight budget. Getting a large group together really brings down the cost. I went with my family of 13. We each spent about $250 each for 5 nights. That's only 1 night at the hilton here in America. So I'd say you guys can absolutely make it work.

Now for the place and host. Both 5 Stars. The onsite guy is tyler and he lives near the property which is totally private. He will never be in your way unless you ask him to come help you out. Tyler is an American but is super knowledgable of whats close by. He has surf rentals and a car rental if needed. The private chef's and massages are also super affordable. We spent $110 for 4 - 30 minute massages. That's only one, 1 hour session here in Los Angeles.

This house is the best, with the best hosts ever, Sean and Sabrina! They will take care of you and help with whatever you need. This place is your one stop shop for fun and relaxation. They have cheap rental cars, scooters, and the dopest house ever with the sickest layout. Yoga deck is epic and plenty of grassy knolls to lay out your surfboards. Any questions are quickly answered by the highly responsive and accommodating hosts, Sean and Sabrina and you can't forget the house dog, Charlie Boy is a straight up legend. He used to be a top dog stray in Tunco until he was taken in by the owner. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend staying at One Wave...

Brand new home located in a very nice gated community right in front of the Sunzal surf break. I really appreciate that the guards actually check each person’s name before they allow entry. Very safe, quite and spacious. Stunning ocean views from the massive yoga deck. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, AC, fans, blackout curtains and VERY comfortable beds. Really nice big kitchen and a massive dining table everyone could fit around! Super fast internet.
