We first tried Soya up in San Salvador and noticed this location actually sells pizza, so we hedged our bets to try their second location here for mostly vegan lunch.
We ordered the vegan margarita pizza and their Asian Noodle Salad. The pizza tasted more like flatbread and was decent, and I can appreciate their use of in house cheese. I guessed that the pizza was heated up from a homemade frozen one they shipped from San Salvador.
The noodle salad was refreshing and good, loaded with fresh veggies although no vegan protein option was available. I enjoyed their tahini dressing as well as their spicy chili crisp that can be added on top. It was definitely spicy and I loved it.

I was very patient, waiting to order. When my order was taken and rung up, the price was far higher than the menu price. When I inquired about it and showed the person working the menu price, they told me the extra money was for a ‘propina’, a tip. After having been ignored for 10 minutes I didn’t really see a tip being deserved, and now it was being demanded without me even offering. The person told me they always add it to an order.
