I would highly recommend this coffee shop to everyone in the area. It is a small business, and the owners very obviously care about coffee and providing a great customer experience. All of the beans are grown locally in El Salvador. The code is quiet and clean, a perfect place to get coffee with a friend or sit and read. After I expressed that I would like to buy some beans to take home but didn’t have much room in my bag, they packaged a small single-serving of beans for me. One of my favorite places I have been in El Tunco! 🫶🏼

Highly recommended! Nino is a very friendly and knowledgeable person, and you can tell he is passionate about coffee. It is clear he has a lot of international experience (ask him about how he ended up in Barcelona with a container of coffee) and purely focusses on quality. The shop is clean, bright, well designed and fresh (yeay for AC), which adds to the vibe when enjoying a freshely brewed cup of coffee. They also sell beans and after trying one cup, we were sold and brought a bag with us. Will definitely be back!

A Must-Visit Spot in El Tunco

I had the pleasure of visiting Tussell Coffee Roasters on their opening day and was the 7th guest through the door. Lucky me! The space immediately impressed — bright and cool (thanks to the great A/C), with a few striking photographs on the wall taken by the owner himself, Nino. The atmosphere felt both welcoming and artistic.

Nino worked the La Marzocco machine with skill and care, serving me one of the best cortados I’ve had in a long time. We ended up chatting for about an hour about coffee, Barcelona, El Salvador, and our shared love of travel & photography. He’s a genuine, lovely man who clearly pours his passion into everything he does. What makes Tussell stand out is that Nino roasts his own beans off-site and brings them straight to the café, ensuring the freshest possible brew.
