Crafters Coffee • Bambu — Restaurant in San Salvador

I've been here many times and their coffee is good and usually their service is fine, although it is generally hard to get the waiter's attention and the coffee takes some time. However, their service has been pretty bad the last 2 times I went. Today, I waited nearly 1 hour for my order to come, which was a croissant with ham and cheese plus americano. At 20+ minutes I politely asked for them to give me my coffee, which they did quickly, also noting that the food was on its way. I then waited another 25 minutes for my food, while a big group that came and ordered after me was already starting to get their food. A little acknowledgement of the delay would have made a big difference, but neither the waiter nor the manager whom arrived afterward and I informed him of the situation apologized for the delay which made...

The waiter was neither friendly nor attentive, and didn't say anything when serving the orders, then the manager? simply remove my coffee while I had a sip to go without asking first, only the female cashier had manners, and helped me pay swiftly. Probably the classic case of one of those establishments where if you don't look foreign, or are a woman, you probably won't get the right treatment. To top it all, the acoustics are awful. Best cold brew i've had in El Salvador so far. I Initially thought this location was a freestanding building, but when I arrived, I realized it was located on the third floor of a busy shopping mall. Parking was a hassle but oh my... the coffee was worth the trouble. It's hard to find a perfect cold brew in South America. This place has high end coffee-making equipment the atmosphere was nice.
