Bella Pasta and pizza | Bole | ቤላ ፓስታና ፒዛ | ቦሌ — Restaurant in Addis Ababa

I recently dined at Bella Pasta and, unfortunately, had a deeply disappointing and concerning experience. I ordered the fish goulash, which was served with a noticeably off-putting odor. Despite my initial concerns, I sampled the dish and quickly realized that the fish was spoiled. The taste confirmed it, and I had to stop eating almost immediately.

Not long after, I began to feel unwell a distressing outcome that raised serious questions about the restaurant’s food safety and storage practices. Spoiled seafood poses a significant health risk, and this experience has left me with genuine concerns about the handling of ingredients at Bella Pasta.

As someone who values quality and safety in dining, I sincerely hope the management takes immediate steps to address this issue. Proper inspection and handling of perishable ingredients, especially fish, should be a top priority.

Let me start by saying that I'm a huge fan of the Bisrate Gabriel branch and it's one of my favorite places to dine with friends. This review, however, is about my experience at the Bole branch.

The biggest issue, which unfortunately applies to both locations, is the lack of consistency. You just can't guarantee the same quality of food twice in a row. When they get it right, the food is absolutely incredible, but it's frustrating when you don't know if you'll get their best effort.

Moreover, I wasn't happy with the service at the Bole branch. I'll admit we arrived at a very busy time, so some delay is to be expected, but it still fell short.

I have been this place a couple of times. I had pizza, lasagna etc. it was so tasty. but this time I ordered chicken salad and it was awful. The dressing was not tasty. The chicken salad had a few slice of chicken. It wasn’t great at all. Ten service wasn’t what I had last time. BTW I had 3 different waiters. Which is fine and normal but I order chicken salad for the first waiter. The second waiter brought normal salad which I didn’t order.
