When I walked up, I was stopped at the entrance and there were 5 people outside looking me up and down. The girl that looked to me like she was homeless (wearing a black hoodie), just said “it’s closed” with a frown after they all spoke together in Amharic, although the music was still playing and people were still inside eating and drinking.
No smiles, just “mean mugging” and not friendly at all. But, it was a blessing. I went next door and spent my money where it was welcomed and appreciated.
I cannot speak to the quality of the place, only the quality of the people I interacted with.
If it was indeed closing, I understand. But you never know who it is you are dealing with, so you should watch how you treat people whether they are...
