Been there many times for the past few years, but this time had the most disappointed experience.
We wanted to have salmon sashimi, and the waitress has been putting our order as trout. Ive been trying to tell her that I WANT SALMON and she keep pointing ‘trout’ on her order without telling me why until we asked the owner- and he only replied: trout is the closest to salmon. I thought you could explain a lil bit or let your staff know that she should explain to the customer like ‘you should tell them that we don’t have salmon, but the trout is the closest to salmon, would you like to have it instead?’
Same girl, when I said a few times ‘that’s all for now, thanks’ She still keep asking me if I want other things- she almost asked the whole display....
Food was always awesome but a lil overpriced.
And when we about to pay, they charged us twice for the king crab. The bill was about ¥31,000 when it supposed to be ¥19,000. The king crab is really delicious though, but we probably won’t...
Read moreTake out only sushi place. Staff was very friendly and the room for customers to wait is very cozy.
I got a single server sushi set which cost 4000 yen. 9 pieces of sushi, 4 pc roll, ginger, cucumbers, mushrooms, and three pieces of egg roll. The place only takes credit card, no cash. I waited about 10 minutes for my food.
Took me a 10 minute walk both ways from my resort. Hiked uphill to get back and it was so worth it.
The presentation of the food is top notch. I usually don’t like fancy packaging, as I’d rather have my money go into the quality of the food, but this was necessary, and contributed to the supreme takeout experience.
The fish was extremely fresh and very tasty. Wasabi was placed between the raw seafood and the rice, as it is traditionally. Highly recommend, very authentic, quality sushi, for a reasonable price. None of that westernized garbage in the other fancy resorts around that cater to tourists. This place is...

The best seafood is picked up by James and his team each day, so you never know what delights will be waiting for you when you arrive to dine. Food is prepared in a simple manner because the star is the seafood itself. Cosy, simple atmosphere but relatively tight quarters. Its a busy place but that’s the charm. Prepare to make reservations way way way in advance of your visit. You can do it online. Walk-ins are possible but your greatest chance is after 9pm (good luck!). Large groups will be impossible to accommodate without advance booking. Ezo is now closed on Mondays. Well worth a visit!! We have for the...
