I am not a review writer but now I need to vent. I hate self service restaurants but this is the worst in Helsinki so far.
Lunch menu in the afternoon is poor if you don't eat fish... so we took the 16 euro burgers and fries for 6.50 or something.. see photos, the portions are tiny! We went somewhere else to eat lunch and booked this as the starter.
A not busy Thursday afternoon, more than half of the tables outsidw free, inside is nobody sitting. All free tables have dirty plates/glasses on them and birds are eating of them and s**ting on the tables. All tables just disgusting. Don't get me wrong, the birds aren't the problem!
Inside 4 staff members waiting for customers. Not one showing initiative to clean the tables or any other initiatives either. After complaining reacting yes, but reluctantly. If the hygiene standard behind the scene is not significantly higher than the client area...

But the bread is like traditional russian or finnish and its really an acquired taste. The herring is fine but man are there so many bones to it. A little nervous now but should be alright. Theyre very small. Im used to it from a can so maybe its just that lol!! The blueberry cheesecake thing i had was absolutely fantastic!!! We opted for the brunch buffet, and it was absolutely delightful. Even our 1-year-old baby thoroughly enjoyed the food! Every penny we spent felt truly worth it.
