There are many beautiful parks in Helsinki. Less known but near Helsinki city center is Observatory Hill Park (Tähtitorninvuori tai -mäki). It was early summer morning when we walked and sat there in the park, only few people with their dogs, beautiful day coming, just enjoy..
Only a narrow street separates Observatory Hill Park from old beautiful houses which surround the park. You'll find nice views of the sea as well as few monuments including the impressive 'Shipwrecked' monument by Robert Stigell (1897). Alas, the old Helsinki Observatory building is found in the centre of the park as well. On the whole, it is a nice bit of green and leisure space, potentially worth a visit while spending time...
