My brothers and I had initially wanted to stop by Kaffa around the corner but it was closed on Sunday, so we decided to walk around the area and stumbled upon Rams.

Overall ambiance was very cosy and friendly. The indoor seating space is quite limited but they had a lovely terrace set out on the front street for additional seating. The gentleman who took our order provided top notch service. Our orders were packaged with care which was A++.

My cappuccino with oatmilk was probably one of the best I’ve had in Finland and my brothers also enjoyed their cold brew and chai latte. We also picked up their house sweet bun, a cinnamon roll, a decadent chocolate chunk cookie and a slice of bacon quiche, all of which were absolutely delicious and incredibly generous in size.

I just came from Seattle and this cafe would fit right in to the amazing scene over there in both quality and ambiance.

1 | A very cozy little café with excellent coffee. If I lived in Helsinki, a large part of my paycheck would probably end up here. 2 | The oat flat white was one of the best I’ve had recently. The coffee had a beautifully full flavor. My girlfriend had a filter and she praised it as well. 3 | Looking back, I regret a little that we came right after a meal and didn’t try the cocoa roll or another treat from the counter. All the pastries looked very good. 4 | Prices at the café are fairly high, but they match the quality of the experience. Espresso and americano are €4.50, cappuccino is €5.40, and flat white is €5.20. They also offer nitro cold brew as a specialty. If you’ve never had it, I highly recommend it. Thanks to the nitrogen, it’s creamier. 5 | The café itself is quite small inside and is laptop-free. In nice weather you can sit outside. It’s cozy and a very pleasant place to spend time. Customers were coming and going, and I felt that many were regulars. I can’t blame them, the staff was excellent. All in all, it was an outstanding...
