« Très petite unassuming café » or [Boulangerie Finnoise], neatly tucked away inside this large square plaza just beyond the hotels behind the Crowne Plaza and Scandic Park Hotel on Sandelsinkatu 6, next to Tram Linjaa 1, 2, 4, 8, & 10. Very delicious pastry selections along with cakes and an assortment of freshly baked breads, (kahvi)— and a good amount of sandwiches for on the go (lounas)! Wonderfully staffed. And satisfyingly good! Highly recommended.

it was my last day in helsinki and i needed to get another cardamom bun before leaving. unfortunately it was sunday which meant reduced hours and less baked goods available. this gateau location was convenient for me but by the time i got there my beloved cardamom bun was already sold out. i went with a pistachio bun instead. it was delicious too, but nothing can beat the cardamom one.

Probably one of the more memorable bakeries in Helsinki - tried many things and prob the best coffee we had during our trip too. Forgot to take pic of the pastries, we were hungry!

Excellent breads which have made in sour dough, it is healthier option as less yeast is used. Selection isn't very large but that haven't bothered me. ✌🏻😁
