A great place that truly captures the spirit of Töölö, but read the menu carefully! The location and the interior is Helsinki at its best from modernist days, the staff is friendly and the food is great. I can also mention that beer selection is very respectable, found a few new local beers. Place fits both classic audience and modern hipsters, atmosphere and people are great. But it's easy to make a mistake, thought I ordered a cheeseburger and I kind of got a cheeseburger - a burger only with cheese, huge piece of mozzarella. Well, the very friendly waitress fixed it and got me a good patty to add!

The burger looked like one of the worst I’ve ever seen (even a burger you buy from a grocery store in a plastic wrapping and that you’re supposed to warm in a microwave looks more appealing) so I was hoping that maybe at least the taste would be surprisingly great. But nope, tasted as terrible as it looked. The worst hamburger I’ve eaten in my life. Never again, and I hope this serves either as a warning sign to those who don’t wanna have terrible food experiences, OR as an invite for those who want to enjoy the worst burger in Helsinki. P.S. Even the amount of fries is a joke as visible in the image.

For dessert I had a soufflé, since the waiter recommended it. One star is subsracted because the soufflé was a bit overcooked and didn't quite have the runny texture which three of my companions had. The taste, though, was anyways good and the capucchino ice cream went well with it. All in all, I do recommend Töölön Sävel and would go again.

We had a terrific lunch with our friends. After just being treated rudely by staff at the nearby cafe Tin Tin Tango we were glad to be treated really well. One of the men working their was so helpful, my friend had a bad dairy allergy and he really helped get her something good off the lunch menu that she could enjoy. The salad buffet that is included is amazing, they even have different things like quiche and roasted italian style vegetables, the fish was really tasty and followed by cheesecake and coffee. We came away really full for only 10 euros each. The mans attitude was great and he asked us how things were and made us feel very welcome, he even told us when they were taking the salad buffet away so we could get more if we wanted. We left happy and im bringing my parents here when they visit...
