I went here to eat with my brother. I had already visited Karaz on Lönnrotinkatu so I knew what to expect. Again a great experience. I can definetely recommend the little Syrian Potluck so you get to taste pretty much all the vegetarian dishes on a cool tasting plank. On top of that we had the Karaz Kafta: lamb meatballs in cherry sauce with roasted cashew. We went a bit crazy and also had the Popsicle Musakhan: roasted chicken with sumac and caramelized onion. Honestly, I believe the Syrian Potluck and one main course is plenty for two. At least if you want to leave some room for the dessert. Read moreThis is one of the hidden gems of Helsinki; an absolute must-try place whenever you are around the edgy Kallio district. It is the restaurant's second location after the one in the city center. It has the same original menu, plus absolutely genius additions.

Recommended starters: Loaded Hummus (of course), Moutabbal Remix, Tabbouleh.
Recommend dishes: Kheshkhash Kafta, Toushka, Trio Fatteh (Vegetarian), and Karaz Kafta.
