Excellent location on hot days and evenings, there is ample space on the terrace. A bit of a show-offy place for superficial snobs, but hey - they keep these places running for "tourists" like me who just want to enjoy the local atmosphere and experience good food and beverages ;)

Drinks: Pretty good selection, the Mojito was tasty and sweet (if you like that). Towards the end of the evening, the best stuff (like Napue GT's) wasn't available anymore.

Food: the starters were laughably small for sharing, but tasted good. The burger was worth the money, very tasty with a special sweetness in it as well (syrup?). Those who ordered fish & chips were not as impressed. The pikeperch was OK. Go for the burger.

Service: as a Finn, I'm not too bothered about this, but the place was packed and it's hard to get experienced staff for the summer so don't expect royal treatment. The wait time for the food was pretty OK since our group had much to talk about, but don't come for a quick bite. The (foreign) guys at the terrace bar did a great job, funny and friendly. Inside, the service was handled by a mixture of old foxes and total newbies so there was some confusion and but no-one was rude (as frustrated waitors/waitresses in Finland sometimes can be) - just a little bit lost in the hurry. The old, friendly fox knew her business and corrected mistakes of the youngsters, so it worked OK for us.

Summa summarum: come for the drinks at the terrace and maybe grab a burger. Sama suomeksi: terassille drinkeille ja ehkä burgerille kun aurinko paistaa (tai hyvä...

Good food and absolutely gorgeous milieu! Staff not so professional.

This place has a setting to be really good but the staff is a bit lost. It is good if you are self-imposed since you may need to ask to be served.

My friend and I ordered right at 5pm when dinner menu was available. After 45 min we still hadn’t seen our shrimps and mussels so we asked the status. Staff didn’t admit that they had forgot to place the order but somehow it is pretty obvious if you write it down on your notepad. :) After 5 min we had our food. Food itself was good so that’s no problem. When we asked the invoice, they apologise long waiting time and their little mistake in placing the order.

Next table ( number 6 I believe ) had a family of 5 + 1, they waited 30 minutes and asked their order status which unfortunately was not placed either. They left.

Also other clients seemed to be a bit angry due long waiting time and unfriendly staff.

Pro tip for the staff, it is probably good to number the tables so all staff members know which table has ordered what and you don’t need to count everytime what table you are placing the order. Or even ask from hour customers, what is the table number.

Even though the service was horrible and staff was bit unfriendly, I can recommend it for wine and snacks. I am pretty confident they will improve their service level and then it is place to be! Due its location, I will give it another try in near future and if all good, I will edit my review.

The "Bubbel Club" on the Hamton Bay's rooftop bar was a disappointment. Only one bartender trying to serve over fifty customers queuing the 1€ happy hour sparkling wine offer was simply not enough. After a while the bartender announced the sparkling wine is out of stock, even though the happy hour was still going on and there was even a liquor store (Alko) just across the street. He did not offer any compensatory drinks either to those people who had been queing over 30 minutes under the hot sun. There were dirty dishes everywhere and the restaurant management did not have a clue how to keep the place tidy. The customer service was not according to 2020 standards, which is a shame since the restaurant has great potential located...
