As a regular guest of Nerone, I've come to appreciate its consistent excellence in delivering a delightful Italian dining experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and welcoming, perfectly setting the stage for a relaxed yet memorable meal.
The pizza, a personal favorite, never fails to impress with its crispy crust and the right balance of toppings. Each bite is a testament to the authenticity and quality that Nerone prides itself on. The lasagna is another dish I frequently indulge in; its layers of pasta, rich sauce, and melted cheese create a perfect harmony of flavors.
A standout dish that I must mention is the vongole. It's a delightful representation of classic Italian seafood cuisine, with the clams cooked to perfection, melding wonderfully with the aromatic sauce and pasta. It's a dish that brings a taste of the Italian coast to the table, and I find it irresistible every time.
Nerone’s charm lies in its ability to consistently provide high-quality food, combined with an ambiance that's both cozy and elegant. The staff’s friendly and efficient service further enhances the dining experience, making me look forward to my next visit.
In essence, Nerone stands as a reliable choice for anyone seeking authentic Italian cuisine. Whether it's the pizza, lasagna, or the exquisite vongole, this restaurant ensures a delightful culinary journey each time. It’s a gem that I'm always eager...
Read moreFirst visit yesterday evening. Nice and clean place and atmosphere. An old Italian song from 883 band playing in background that reminds me of the old good school days. The same feeling I had tasting the Margherita, the pizza I chose. At first I got some focaccia. Savoury and balanced in taste which accompanied perfectly the little side salad who lied under the Arancine I had as starter. Well fried and tasty homemade Arancine was a nice way to start but let's talk about the main course. First bite and I felt like I was back to when I was 15 and spent the evening challenging my friends to whom would have eaten the most. Large, well baked and with just the right amount of toppings and generous amount of basil. Half way between Neapolitan and Romana style this pizza was a nice choice. Really nice place to have a taste of traditional Italian cuisine in the heart...
Read moreAwful, disgusting, worst quality ingredients. Ordered a Margherita, cannot get more basic than this. According to the menu, Margherita was supposed to have buffalo mozzarella. What came was chewing, gummy crust dressed with the worst quality tomato sauce (uncooked, unseasoned) one can find from their local supermarket, and - "buffalo mozzarella" made of cheap emmenthal basic cheese pieces used by all the worst kebab places in town. Horrible decor, straight from 1993. Awful smell in the toilet, like a horse stable. Nothing has changed since Jyrki Sukula's intervention in Kitchen Nightmares, still a nightmare. Suggestion: have some proud, shut the place down, this was the place that was merely ok in 2003 when the only alternative was Dennis. Do you really think you can compete against Tribunali,...
