Pronto Pizzeria Sörnäinen — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

Three separate reviews from the past two years:

1/3: Lovely atmosphere! The pizza maestros are super friendly, and beyond. I've enjoyed my two visits here. The pizza is good - too many "real neapolitan" place serve you a pizza that is left undone and wet from the middle. Pronto's pizza is cooked very well. I was also delighted to get the toppings of my choice (eventhough italians may be horrified of having a margarita with pineapple and jalopeno :D). Only, small minus comes from the lack of salt/taste from the base of the pizza (dough/tomato paste). House wine could also be bit better, but beer was good. Overall, this kind of place is needed and much welcomed here!

2/3: Later review, after few months and three tastings - so far, the pizzas have been super yummy, I think the best pizza in Kallio. Also, try the lava cake, it's divine!

3/3: Latest review, after over two years and many many visits (around at least 10-20 times / year). My favourite pizzeria in Helsinki! Ask for extra crispy if you like it like me.

New spice oil was superb! There is two good beers (poretti and blanc). No more lava cake as desert (but might be a good thing for my lines :,p). I hope they will get the espresso machine fixed soon!

Used to be one of the best places to have a decently priced pizza in Kallio area, but recent price increases have made it less appealing. Also in our last visit we were served tap beer that had a really bad taste and after asking for a replacement (something in a bottle) or refund for the pint that was hardly touched, we only got answered that the beer tastes ok in their opinion and they could not give any refund or replacement. Also apparently the owner was unreachable and outside Finland at that moment. Will need to take my money elsewhere...

Awesome quality-price pizzeria. A good alternative to the horrible pizzas that are usually served in kebab places. The dough is by far the best thing of the pizzas, so tasty and soft but crunchy at the same time!

Only thing that it could be improved in my opinion is the toppings. Most of the pizzas are the typical jalapeno/pineapple/blue cheese weird combinations that are so typical in Finland which are good. But maybe one or two options as more "Italian" flavors could be appreciated.

But again, for the price is 100%...
