Manna provides a delightful foray into Korean cuisine with a menu that promises an authentic experience right in the comfort of their cozy establishment. The highlight for me was their Dolsot Bibimbap, served in a traditional stone bowl, which not only kept the dish sizzling but also added a delightful texture to the rice, enhancing the flavors of the various vegetables and sauces mixed within.
The restaurant's intimate setting is a testament to its genuineness, offering a quiet escape where one can savor the rich and diverse tastes of Korea. Although small, the space is optimized to deliver a genuinely cozy atmosphere, encouraging diners to relax and enjoy their meal.
The menu at Manna is quite extensive, featuring a range of Korean favorites from spicy chicken with rice to Tteokbokki, and a selection of bibimbap variations. The Dolsot Bibimbap section is particularly inviting, explaining what this traditional dish is and how it's best enjoyed.
On the beverage side, Manna's drink menu boasts an impressive selection of Korean drinks, including Soju, Makgeolli, and Plum Wine, along with a variety of international wines and non-alcoholic options. This diverse selection provides the perfect pairing for any dish, catering to all preferences.
In conclusion, Manna stands out as a cozy, genuine Korean restaurant that offers a great selection of traditional dishes and drinks. The food is good, the ambiance is inviting, and the experience is as authentic as one can get without hopping on a plane to Korea. It's a must-visit for anyone looking to explore...
Read moreA small and cozy Korean restaurant. I visited here twice, both not to bad but the second time was a bit disappointed.
We had two people, came for dinner. It was a bit busy at that time. We ordered 5 dishes in total, 2 starters and three main dishes. The vegetables pancake was good, the japche tasted good but it too small portion. Then, the bulgogi cost 22,90 but it was bland and tasted not really delicious. The fried chicken was good as my friend said, it was his only favourite in the meal. But the octopus tasted soggy and salty, it definitely the worst. I ordered one more kimchi portion, i didn’t taste the kimchi they gave us included with the food, i just though it too little for me cause i love kimchi so much. But then the kimchi was over tasted and too sour for me, i think it was stay for too many day caused its taste. It made me disappointed. It’s not too bad for everything, but the price quite high made us feel unworthy with the food. Totally the bill was 83,60…
(+) Fast and friendly service. Make us feel comfortable. (-) The food in general a bit overpriced to compare with the portion and other restaurants. (-) The table was really sticky. I hope they can clean it...
Read moreMy first experience with Korean food. I went there during lunch hour, because they had a big sign outside saying "home-made tofu". I wanted some, but was told that it is only available later, in the evening time. So I came back later, got my tofu and to my surprise (and horror), it cost almost 20 euros. The portion included a small amount of rice, some Kim Chi and a separate box of silky tofu. It tasted great. I was a little bit scared of the Kim Chi, since I never had any before, but it tasted actually very good, not unlike sauerkraut, but with a oriental twist. Initially I was skeptic about the size of the portion, but actually it was enough for two. Im having a hard time with this review, since the food was really good, and that is the only thing that should matter, but I must remove 1 star because it was so expensive. Every time I pass by, there are Korean People eating inside, I guess that is a good sign. I am already looking forward to tasting some more Korean food, if I...
