We happened to notice this vegetarian Vietnamese restaurant when passing it. Since Helsinki has not so many Vietnamese restaurants it was a must stop.
The situation is good if you are coming from the Tallinn ferry. Otherwise if you are not a local it takes a bit of effort to get there since it is almost at the end of Jätkäsaari close to sea.
It was pleasant to find out that a sworn meat eater did not really miss animal protein. My glass noodle tofu dish was just as flavoursome as it would have been with chicken. The curry was not eatable at all. The rice is bad. The spring rolls are very over fried. The service was bad. The cooking was extremely long considering that we were alone in the restaurant. There were 6 of us, and we all received our food at different times. So when the person who received their food first finished their meal, the person who received last only just started eating. The appetizers were not served before main dishes. The waitress forgot that we ordered beers, and even what...
