Cozy cafe with yummy food and service, which was a welcome haven to escape the 2 degree weather outside. We walked up to the counter and were helped immediately by an attentive employee. I ordered the mozzarella/tomato sandwich with pesto and it was somewhat small, but delicious. Hubby ordered the avocado sandwich and said it was good. Only complaint is that they charge 1€ per self-serve refill of filter coffee which seems unnecessary. Basic expertise—such as understanding the espresso blend, which syrups pair best with different roasts, and the distinction between light and dark roast profiles—seems lacking. These are fundamental skills for any trained barista.

Terrible. I wanted to enjoy my experience here (the vibe is nice and the food and coffee is decent), but the owner, who was extremely rude. I was told by staff that "that's just the way he is" and that he has a naturally mean face that makes him also seem unwelcoming. If even his own employees say this about him, that tells me this is not an isolated incident, and this is the norm. They asked me to please ignore him and visit the cafe again.
