Finlandiya üniversitelerine girmenin iki türlü yolu vardır.

Birincisi SAT veya ACT olan sınavlar ve üzerine TOEFL'dır. Bazı okullarda TOEFL zorunluluğu yok . Bunu okulun e-mail adresine yazıp bakabilirsiniz.

İkicisini ise ve benim de seçtiğim UAS sınavı. Amacınız mühendislik veya tecrübeye dayalı bir meslek ise , uygulamalı üniversiteler yani applied science tam size göredir Finlandiyan'nın kendi vatandaşlarına da eğer uygulamalı üniversitelere başvurmak isterse bu sınavla girerler. Mesela ben jyväskylä university of applied sciences üniversitesine başvuracağım. İnternette aratıp UAS sınavının detaylarını görebilirsiniz, matematik konuları bizim yks matematik yanında hiçbir, hatta çoğu sınavın komplesi bizim yks yanında neredeyse hiçbir. Bu sınava girmeden 3 veya 4 ay önce günde 2-3 saat çalışmayla rahatlıkla girersiniz . (İngilizce anlayabildiğinizi var sayıyorum). Bütün okulların neredeyse ücretleri 8 - 12 bin € arası değişir. Bazı okullarda ilk yıl için %40 , sonraki yıllarda notlarınızı yukarılarda tutmaya devam ederseniz %40 okul ücretinden muaf olursunuz. Benimde kendi deneyimlerime dayanarak , gerçekten gidilebilmesi kolay üniversitelerdir ki eğer dersleriniz de iyiyse. Önemli olan gerçekten bu ücretleri karşılayabilecek paranız olmasıdır.
