This is a long detailed review. For the price of what you get and how much, 5/5 easy.

I came earlier in the week for luch buffet, and today (Saturday), I came here for evening buffet with my kids. All the pictures and videos are from today's evening buffet.

It is important to note that Mon to Fri there is lunch buffet 11-16. Mon to Fri evening buffet 16 forward until closing time.

Lunch buffet is 16.90€ per adult, cheaper for children. Lunch buffet in selection and quality is some of the best when conpared to the price. Tbh, might be the best food selection and quality for your money.

Evening buffet is higher quality food. Lot more meat. Meat is indeed high quality and at first the 51€ price might seem a lot, but when you stop and think how much all the high quality food you will eat, how much it all together will cost somewhere else... it seems pretty good of a price the 51€ at that point. Elsewhere you'd easily pay 80€ to 150€ for everything you will eat during the evening buffet (depending on how much you will eat.

I asked the price of evening buffet for kids. Evening buffet for kids 5-12 years of age is 25.50€. 2-4 years 18.90€ and 1-2 year olds only 9.90€.

Our bill all together came to about 130€. 130€ is a lot if you want to eat a little high quality food or a whole lot of cheap quality food. With 130€ we spend here, all of us ate a lot of high quality food.

Service is great, and staff friendly and polite. 5/5

Atmosphere is chill vibe type; very welcoming and relaxing.

For adults there is selection of wines and other adult drinks. For everyone there is not something, but everyone will find plenty of food and drinks they will love, because each one of us sure did.

As a vegan, I was more into the vegan sushi and ordered super soft, super yummy tofu dish. Plenty of steamed veggies and fried veggies etc.

My kids eat meat, so they were in heaven, with all the different types of meat.

My kids loved the rotating bbq meat they bring to all tables, and you can cut off as you wish as much as you wish. Chicken filet, chicken wings, smoked pork neck, bull maninha steak, Brazilian pichanha steak, Brazilian chorizo sausage, and even bbq pineapple with honey etc.

Point of this place is to come once a week for day buffet, or once twice per month for evening buffet. Let yourself not stress about the bill, and enjoy the food and have a great time with your...

Went in for Lunch. Outside you get a night club vibe and as well walking down the stairs. This one is one of the most expensive buffets i have visited for a while, 16.90€/per person. The interior is nice and i like the atmosphere. Plenty of tables to choose from. I have no clue of the restrooms as there was no need for one. One person said that the ladies room reminds and feels like a night club with loud music. Keep in mind this place is in the center of Helsinki. Price (considering the quality of the dishes) 2/5.

Starters were fresh and tasty. Cucumber, salads, tomatoes, salad cheese/feta, olives very nice. The mains had a couple of real stars. The beef meatballs were really delicious. Breaded codfish was well made, the crust was a little thick on the side. The nordic kind of sour cream was really good. Excellent choice not to use dill. It complimented to fish nice. Chili beef was really moist and tender. Something to enjoy. There were some issues with the rice, it was lumpy, dry and cold. There was very little mash left but it was ok. I did not try sushi, so i cannot say anything about it. Spring rolls were ok. Onion rings were as expected. Goat cheese pizza surprised me positively. Chicken was very nice. The dessert was 4 different types of ice cream, vanilla, liqourice (lakritsi), chocolate and orange (none left). There was a cake which was really dry and should have been accompanied with a vanilla sauce. The mixed berry custard was tasty and nice. Coffee was ok. So, there were a couple of stars, majority of The dished were in the middle and a couple of things had issues. Considering the whole experience the food was a 3/5.

Atmosphere with some live fishes at the entrance and a small water fall was a delight. Big screens showed some cooking clips and aquarium. Place was tidy, a 4/5.

Overall...

This restaurant deserves 6 stars! This is a Culinary slice of Heaven. There is everything for everyone! A combined, flat price, for a combined Brazilian Steakhouse, Sushi Buffet, Vietnamese Pho, Japanese teppanyaki, Chinese, Western, Seafood, Sushi Art to Order (words can't begin to describe this one), a sinful Dual Chocolate Fondu fountain (for lovers of dark and white chocolate), Ice creams, and because I'm in finland, I'll finish with the amazing Salad Bar!

The colourful atmosphere bridges ambience, formality and lively social opportunies in one large combined restaurant / bar / lounge. In one evening, We enjoyed 10 different meats : Duck, Kangaroo, Deer, Beef, Pork, Chicken, Prawns, Salmon, Lobster, and Tuna.

Finally, everyone needs to try their Mohito. Both their Virgin and Nonvirgin Mohito is to be respected. It's combined flavours were all naturally occurring strawberry, orange and lime (not just syrups from concentrate).

If I could come back to Finland for one reason, this restaurant.... This experience would be enough. Everything is prepared artistically that stimulate all your senses, x10. Restaurant Caverna is a slice of Heaven on earth!
