Sen Chay Vegetarian Restaurant — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

Lunchtime in this small but cozy vegetarian restaurant was pleasant experience. Price to quality was ok. Nothing special to be truly honest but small portion was big enough.

Lunch price for normal (aka small) sized portion is 8,50 Euros which was big enough for me personally. Bigger portion is 9,50 Euros which isn't bad at all. Quality of the lunch wasn't anything special. It was ok and that's about it.

Atmosphere was surprisingly pleasant and cozy even though the location of this establishment seemed to be a bit challenging for people who are looking for lunch places around this area. Nothing hints that there's a nice and cozy vegetarian restaurant hidden in the inner corridor of this enormous concrete building.

I recommend this establishment if you're looking for ok vegetarian restaurant. Just don't expect a five star...

UNIQUE, DELICIOUS AND CONVENIENT!

I had a chance to explore this hole in the wall restaurant while I was staying at Hilton Strand. I was surprised to see all vegetarian restaurant and that too Vietnamese but I was glad I went ahead and tried it anyway. There were plethora of options from different categories and service is quick and fast. You grab the seating you find(share a table even), order food at the counter and talk to other vegetarian food enthusiasts.

I ordered no. 10 spicy noodles with soy bits. The dish came out in few minutes and it was delicious. I tasted great and I am pretty even the people who love meat can enjoy their meal because the flavors were spot on and the ingredients were fresh and fragrant.

The food is amazing! I tried a bit of my friends’ food and everything tasted great! And of course, the spiciness makes it even better. If you can’t stand spicy food, you can definitely request to the staff. There’s non spicy food options as well.

The prices are also quite cheap considering the restaurant being in the city centre.

The atmosphere doesn’t look so promising but the food compensates everything else 😊 the staff were very friendly as well. I would love to come back if I ever go to Helsinki...
