Italica Taberna — Restaurant in Oulu sub-region

We had one of the best meals we have ever eaten in Oulu here. My pasta with anchovy sauce was absolutely divine (also the favouriteout of tge dishes in our group), our party also had the Carbonara and the seafood in tomato sauce. All of which were absolutely delicious. All the pasta was made fresh when ordering and you can watch it being prepared for you. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauces perfectly complimented each different pasta. The anchovy sauce was poured over the pasta at the table and you mix it in before you eat it. This gives it a beautiful creamy texture with flavour that just bursts in your mouth. Desserts! Wow! Tiramisu, but better than you could ever imagine it tasting. The tiramisu is made from scratch in house (no store bought biscuits here) and comes enclosed within a chocolate sphere that has coffee poured over it at the table. It's a perfect blend of sponge, coffee, cream and chocolate. Not too sweet and perfectly balanced flavours. The pannacotta with strawberry was just perfect. Very expensive prices for very small amounts of food! Misleading guidance, in the menu a combo meal indicated at 45e but the guy said this is a menu for two persons, when we went to pay it turned out that it was a menu for one, but if you order it it has to be ordered by two people hence the price was 90e, and it was totally not worth the money: per person you get two bites of fried cod fish, some pasta (not enough to get you satisfied) normally with shrimp but it barely had one full shrimp cut into pieces, and a puff pastry with cream kinda dessert. Overall the food was just simple, nothing wow, the service is too slow because the lady was cooking on her own so like we spent there more than 2hrs at the restaurant to eat the above. I've discovered small Italy for myself. Amazing taste of Italian cuisine. The owners are Italians, so you can enjoy the authentic homemade pasta. Personally recommend everyone to try the dessert Tiramisu: it's worth at least to be seen due to exclusive appearance :)

More practical stuff: The average price of the main dishes is around 15-17 euros. There is a wine card and one of the owners is sommelier, so probably there are good options in menu. I haven't checked it though. AND THE KITCHEN IS OPEN UNTIL 19:00 even on weekend (at least at...
