BEST restaurant I’ve ever been to! We went to Hugo to celebrate two special birthdays. Hoping for an evening of fine dining, excellent wines and good company. We were not disappointed! We started with cocktails, I didn’t see anything on the menu that took my fancy but the bartender asked me a series of questions and then mixed a blueberry, almond and vanilla number for me - which I loved! We had the 6 course Menu Hugo with wine pairing. Each course that came was more amazing than the previous course. The dinner just kept getting better and better. My personal favourite was the elk tartaar, the texture of the meat was so tender it just melted on my tongue. The staff were great! We were 2 Finns and me (English) and they were very accomodating. I highly recommend this restaurant in Oulu and I will be returning next time...

Traditionally one of the best restaurants in Oulu. I've been eating here for a decade and the place has changed a couple of times. Now the style is bistro, food and atmosphere is relaxed and cozy.
