If you're into red meat and slightly more special kind of food, this is your place!

If not, the options here are somewhat limited, especially for vegetarians. I myself took the currywurst meal, which I was pleased with, but I almost never otherwise take red meat at meals - here the options were at least one fish meal and chicken bread.

There's a wealth of options when it comes to beers, so I recommend to check out the options before ordering - even a somewhat rare Lindemans Pecheresse (peach lambic beer) was available!

The staff were hospitable enough, but somewhat busy (the place was pretty full when we ate) - it took us three times to ask for a bottle of water before we finally got one (asked for one before ordering appetizers, and got the bottle towards the end of the main course).

Overall I would recommend this place if you're into some obscure beers and are not very limited by your diet - there are some quite exotic options...

Food was definitely worth 4.5 stars, but the waitress was very grumpy and we had to wait for our meals for over an hour - no one expressed this in the beginning of the meal or made any compensation to us.

Even if you go just for drinks, do yourself a favor and get the country potato wedges. They're mind-blowing. From mains, the veggie dish is good, and so is salmon (which also has potatoes so might be too much), but skip the mussels; nothing special there. We didn't stay for dessert as that might taken another hour to get. Would have been nice to get our wine glass complimentary, but the waitress just complained busyness, as if it was our fault! The party next to us got served their mains, desserts, and 3 rounds of drinks while we were listening to our growling stomachs.

All in all: maybe go on a weeknight, hope that your waitress is having a good day, and get...

Great selection of ciders and excellent food. That's what was important to me. Had the fried froglegs and they were great - as a curiosity but don't think I'll have them again. Don't get me wrong, it was interesting, grab it for the experience, it tasted great yet think there are foods at Tuulensuu that do taste better.
