Jalla Jalla — Restaurant in Tampere sub-region

This was our second visit here in two years. I've been living in Finland for 10 years but I'm shocked that I faced rude behavior in the same restaurant during both our visits. I ignored the first time and didn't bother to leave a review but I had to this time around particularly about the old guy with white beard. He was rushing when we were placing the order. We were 3 people and after two items, he was rushing to close the order. There weren't even any queues that I was holding up people or something. I didn't even bother about that but the worst thing happened was when we received our orders.

I particularly mentioned Kanavartaat as my first order, then kana-kabab vartaat as my second order. He was rushing so much that he missed the first item and ended up bringing second order correctly but the other one was kababvartaat. My wife doesn't like beef so she couldn't have it. When I went to the kitchen, the old guy was rude blaming me. He was quite loudly telling me that I ordered wrongly. He even said that I didn't even know what I wanted and now changed my mind. I'm so shocked. He said I ordered Shishkabab but I literally didn't even utter the word "Shish" at all. He said he'll replace but why such attitude? Perhaps it's a good practice that they repeat orders to confirm after taking all orders? Also, we had our four months old baby with us and when the baby cried a little, he even stared in a way that I felt really bothered. Why make people feel so unwelcomed?

I was going through the reviews and noticed few other people also experienced rude behavior from this person. This is really unfortunate. Their food is quite decent but they should really take the feedback regarding staff behavior seriously. I went their on a Sunday with family and left with a sad mood. Shouldn't ruin people's...

I had a highly disappointing experience at this restaurant. We were a group of 6 adults and 3 kids and placed an order for 6 main dishes and a side of fries, as one person in our party wasn’t hungry. To our shock, the owner told us in an incredibly rude manner, insisting that because we were a group of 9, we needed to order more food, because there is complimentary salad and you will eat more. Despite us politely explaining that we only wanted the food we had ordered, he continued to raise his voice and demand we order more, causing a scene that made other customers stare.

I have never encountered a restaurant that refused to take an order unless we agreed to order more food. The lack of professionalism and respect left us all deeply uncomfortable. I would never return and cannot recommend this...

Me and my partner got we both got sick. I had to take her to emergency. They had to insert camera in her stomach and found that there was a tear in her stomach from throwing up so much and so hard. It’s been over a month now and she is still sick and have more check ups and doctor times. She still cannot eat anything, has pain and feels like throwing up constantly! We’re paying bills after bills and still haven’t got her stomach fixed. So please boycott this restaurant!
