We ate two days in a row at Renna. Both days the food was excellent. Amazing pasta and even better pizza. Full five stars for the main dishes. List of desserts isn’t too convincing though. The two days we had, the service was really different. First day we had super happy, helpful and joking waiter, second day a slightly annoyed waitress from the very beginning, then even more so as many of us wanted to have both red and white wine with two glasses. Also some comments such as ”can I do this first” when asked to add glasses were unnecessary. Of course you can but you can also reply just ”yes, sure, I will give the glasses in a bit” not by being sarcastic that the stupid customer asked a wrong moment. Read moreWhat a disappointment. as a starter we had the cheese and the carpaccio. the cheese was tasteless and nothing special. The carpaccio was ok. But then the mains. We had the shrimp pasta. This was more soup than pasta. In addition, the pizza Nduja. It was missing ingredients that were on the menu and they just threw a mountain of sambal on it to make it spicier. We wanted to eat the pizza against our will and send the pasta back, but the service wouldn't let us. I felt sorry for the girl who served us. She agreed with us but was sent back to our table with the receipt by the kitchen and an arrogant manager.

You can't make a reservation so had to just turn up, which isn't a problem and we can understand if the place is full, we can either wait or leave. But there were about 15 customers in several groups, at the 'wait to be seated sign'. We stood around for a good 10 minutes and no staff member even acknowledged our presence.
