We stayed here for 5 days over Christmas on a Tui 4night search for santa trip and I can not fault this accommodation one bit. ||||I have stayed in Levi before at the Sokos which was fine but wanted a home from home & our freedom. ||||We stayed in a 2 bedroomed apt. I expected it to be larger as advertised by TUI hower we were in the smaller 2 bedroomed and it was the perfect cosy size. It had everything ||||2 double bedrooms both with wardrobe space one bedroom led out onto the balcony with table chairs and an Ashtray. Extra duvets in the wardrobes ||||A toilet with cupboard space||A bathroom with more cupboard space a washing machine and walk in shower then it's very own Sauna! ||There was a drying cupboard ideal for drying snow suits and towels ||||An open plan living room, dining & fully fitted kitchen area with electric cooker, oven, dishwasher, microwave, full sized fridge freezer, toast coffee machine kettle every utensil you could think of more cutlery cups glasses and plates than what the rooms held and excellent quality too! ||||The dining table seated 6. The living area was cosy with seating for 4 it was only as we were leaving I realised that we had a sofa bed in the lounge area. We had tv with some English channels dvd player excellent WiFi and surround sound system ||||The hallway even had extra wardrobe space too||||We were constantly impressed by all the little extras we found such as a sledge in the wardrobe in the hall way a Hoover iron ironing board mop, even down to Baking paper for the oven a cooking apron electric hand held whisk. ||||Our location was ideal centrally loaded every thing was a 5 minute walk from us no matter which way we turned 5 mims from supermarket.... 5 mins from ski slopes. ... 5 mins walk from the Crazy reindeer Hotel where we met our coach for our TUI trips. ||||The kids are pulled along on sledges they're just left outdoors in resort and if its just sat there unattended it's yours to borrow its amazing. Once the ski slopes shut at night people all head to the slopes and sledge down them. Great fun and we got to see the northern lights. ||||There is a pub next door to us which has a pool table and table football the family enjoyed a few games there whilst I tidied up and got ready for the fireworks display on Christmas day. ||||It's not cheap out there ||Price wise looking at 13 euro for a small wine or a single spirit and mixer in a bar. ||||3euro for can of beer in a shop between 3&6 euro for a small bottle of coke or Fanta approx 3 euro for packet of crisp. They only sold beet in K supermarket couldn't get a bottle of wine or spirit in future I will pack my own wine. ||||I have been to lapland before and their national food is reindeer therefore I knowingly packed food to take with us like bacon sausage Black pudding for and Xmas ever morning fry up because in the supermarket your Googleing everything because what the meat is isn't in English and I bought burgers this time 9 euro for 4 from fridge section and nobody would eat it as they weren't convinced it wasn't rudolf. ||||We went to a pizza place on the first night on arriving and we ordered 3 standard sized pizzas and 4 soft drinks approx 50 euro. Kids picked names off the menu and it's it's as I ate a slice the meat tasted abit like liver & deep down I knew... I went to ask the ingredients and I was right I was eating rudolf. Safe to say I didn't finish it but I did order chicken wings instead and OMG they were delicious!!||||Everything about this place is magic. The air is clean the area is clean they are so covod friendly wear your masks and xovod pass and if before you are served at any restaurant or bar. ||||I will be returning again and I will be returning to Levi Suites Unna Mannu ive stayed in many places around the world from 2 star to many 5 star but this place is by far the best. I could actually see myself living in the apartment we stayed in. It was modern clean cosy and central!. It hit -29 outdoors yet indoors was always hot sometimes too hot nit a bad thing we just turned the heating up or down||||||Thankyou for giving us our best...
Read moreBit of confusion over the name/location of these apartments, so hopefully reviewing the correct place!||We stayed in Snow White Suites (Block C), I believe to be also called Unna Mannu in Levi. We had 2 apartments-family of 4 in one and 3 adults in another, rooms were opposite each other, only 6 rooms on our floor.||||Quick and simple check-in and check-out at reception in the bowling alley building, this is a separate building to Block C apartments. We were located next to the "square" in the centre of Levi. Great location to everything as only a 5-10 mins walk to supermarkets or ski slopes with shops and restaurants all around us.||||Apartments on 1st floor but no lift. Generally quiet building but not sure if all rooms were occupied on our stay, had a bit of noise from apartment above on the odd occasion (child running up and down). Considering we stayed there in Dec when it was -6c the apartment was always very warm, you can adjust the temperature some what but we found we had the balcony door open a lot of the time to cool down! Lovely little balcony but didn't really use it due to the snow, nice view to wake up to though.||||The apartments were nice and clean, I didn't notice any maintenance issues. They are very well equipped with anything you could think of...plenty of spare toilet roll, tissues, shower gel/soap. Most cutlery etc for the kitchen, kettle, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, oven. Hairdryer and iron. There was also a safe although it didn't look very secure we did use it. Decent amount of storage and the whole place was quite spacious. ||It is a 1 bed apartment which had 2 single beds pushed together. In the main room there is a sofa bed which was easy to set-up, the bedding was stored in a wardrobe. All beds were fairly comfortable. ||The bathroom had a walk in shower and also the sauna, a washing machine and dryer (we used this to dry our bath towels, due to being self-catering they weren't replaced). There was a tv in the main room although we couldn't get any signal on ours but weren't intending to use it much anyway, also good wifi in the apartment.||||Would recommend staying here, good for family of 4 including 2 kids but personally felt it'd be a little cramped if 4 adults staying in...
Read moreWe didn’t sleep for 7 days and VERY SLOW internet (did a speed check on my phone, screenshot attached in the images - be prepared to not use your phone or laptop for anything) !!! Being sleep deprived because of how bad and uncomfortable the “beds” are is not fun.
The problems…
TWO SINGLE BEDS - instead of one double or king bed provided. These beds are super small and slide around at night every time you turn. The mattress - well, there isn’t one. It’s a very thin piece of foam! THERE IS NO MATTRESS! I have never seen a “bed” like this. So we barely slept for the duration of our trip. Uncomfortable and disappointing is an understatement.
THE ROOM - is very small. It has a two stove electric hob so you can’t really cook anything on it. A fridge, dishwasher and electrical that you may need. It also smelled like sewage in the toilet when we arrived which leaked into the apartment as well. There’s not much storage space to put your stuff so you end up either living out your suitcase or being very messy and crowded in an already small room.
THE BATHROOM - the shower sprays everywhere and the water goes all over the floor. The sink is TINY! Smaller than two of my hands put together, so every morning I brushed my teeth in the kitchen sink which was slightly bigger. There is a sauna, which is nice after a long day in the cold.
BROKEN / WORN OUT ROOM - there are a lot of things either broken or falling off in the room. It’s not well maintained. Thermostat is also broken and you cannot control the temperature in your room. Normally gets over 25 degrees at night.
LOCATION - is the only positive I have to say about this place. You’re a walking distance to everything you neee. Supermarket 4 min walk, restaurants on your doorstep, ski or clothing hire equipment next door. Everything you need is here.
I wouldn’t stay here as the lack of sleep really effected being able to wake up and get through they day. So a lot of time was wasted trying to rest instead of having a good night sleep and being full of energy to enjoy the holiday. The internet is so slow I couldn’t even watch videos on my phone or laptop. May not seem like much reading this but trust me, you’ll rather spend a little more money and get a...
