Just finished a 7 day Ski trip to Lapland with Inghams. We went as a group of 8 so in total had 4 rooms. 3 were Family rooms and one was a Sammal Suite. The room quality over all with the family rooms were tidy and equipped with a Coffee maker, Kettle, drying cupboard, Safe, Fridge. hair dryer, Iron. trouser press and a decent size Samsung TV. The cleanliness of the room id describe as fine but far from perfect. On the surface and from a quick look around the room is presented well but when you start to look closer at things you can see where some improvement to attention to detail could be made. Pulling the beds out you can see dust and stones from the carpark that have been walked in with boots (not a issue if you don't pull the beds out). The bedding is clean but I found hairs on the sheets, again this didn't really bother me because I knew the bedding was clean and changed every other day. When i say hairs i mean the odd hair so that could easily have come from the cleaners maybe. There is a upcharge for tea and coffee to be supplied in the rooms so best of packing a few teabags, hot chocolates and coffee with filters as its a little expensive in Finland. The bathroom was nice and clean with underfloor heating (welcome after being out in the cold). The drying cupboard was a life saver. you can put all your wet skiing stuff in their and after 30 mins it's all dry. Would have been nice to have a bath as well as a shower instead of having to go over to the pool to soak our mussels. TV as mentioned in other reviews did lack children's TV channels but I always pack a HDMI cable and a USB C adapter to plugin my iPad to the TV so this wasn't really a issue. The hotel could look at upgrading the entertainment system to include Chromecasts. WIFI is nice and fast and more importantly FREE!! had no issues there. The Sammal Suite was brilliant and only cost us £50 extra to upgrade one of the rooms to it. We would all gather there after a long day, plugin the Laptops and video cameras into the TV and watch back our day of Skiing. also have a game of cards around the big table. We did have issues with the room where the toilet light didn't work but the lovely maintenance guy came over and sorted that right away. A previous guest had also switched the bathroom lock to the outside of the door and they came and sorted that out as well. A few negatives were block 9 where we stayed didn't have a dedicated Ski storage area and no lift so climbing the stairs with Ski boots and Ski's was a bit of a pain. The bedside lights were stupidly low and located in the centre of my pillow. Really stupid decision whoever put them there. Almost tempted to rip it off the wall at 2am when i hit my head on it. that needs addressing asap. The food in the restaurant was lovely although the selection seems to be less than we've had before in past years the quality was still good!. Best pork belly and chicken i've had in a long time. The breakfast also set us all up perfectly every day. The room can be a little too dark over the round tables though so the lighting could do with some improving. The issue we had mainly with the lighting was it made us very tired coming in at 5pm where its already dark outside, it would have been nice for it to be better lit in there just to keep us more awake. that's personal preference though. Location... Its pretty decent, The bus stop to southpoint is about a 5 min walk but coming back it doesn't stop anywhere near the hotel. you have to walk back from zero point so maybe they could chat with the bus company and get a bus stop a little closer organised. Pool... Well apart from having to walk through a burger king its decent! Has plenty of things to keep kids entertained and a lovely hot pool upstairs to relax in. Issue we had was after 5pm it was so busy to the point you couldn't get into any hot tubs. We ended up going at 2:30pm to avoid the evening rush. I'd give the hotel that 5th star if our next visit addresses the cleaning issues and the rooms are updated/ modernised a little.

Never again. Do not believe the reviews from those who did not live in the hotel, but only visited the pool or restaurant. The hotel is not worth the money. Rooms are located in separate buildings. Paper walls - you can hear any sound from the next room. Buildings and rooms are very tired. A huge flow of people, just crowds. Hotel/rooms. Rooms look tired, look like guesthouse but not as 4 stars hotel. A lot if scratches, broken walls and so one. No kids TV channels, TV model is old, so have no YouTube, Netflix, you can't connect your devices, for example. If you think that this is a SPA hotel, then it is NOT, you have probably never been to a real SPA hotel. To get to the "Spa", you need to take your towels, put on all winter clothes and go to the Burger King entrance (300-500 meters) which is the entrance to the "Spa". But it's swimming pool zone from 90s. In rooms no bathrobe, no normal shower gel or shampoo. No sauna. Why is it called a spa hotel? Swimming pool open from 12 till 19:30 - really spa??? Common guys, how to rest after skiing and lunch? Restaurant. For breakfast, you need to go outside (5 min walk) wearing all winter clothes. 3 times per day, you can imagine if you have kids, how long it take. Breakfast in the restaurant ( is more like in hostel) dirty, poorly cleaned. A lot of garbage, really, a lot!!! Breakfast till 10 even weekend. Guys, common. If your clients it's a package tourists - ok, you don't care about guests, who wants to sleep and rest and not hurry up to breakfast. In the evening we decided to have dinner. The cost for two was 58 euros, two adults for 29 euros, the child was free. The next day, they began to count food for the child for 14 euros. In one day the rules have changed. At the reception they said that the child is free, in the restaurant - already for a fee. If a child eats one peace of sausage, you still need to pay 14 euros. We stayed 6 nights. Food was same every day. Eggs, beacon and beans. For 1-2 days ok, but not for long term staying. We sew for breakfast. There were a few empty tables, but it was dark and no lights were on. We asked to turn on the light, but received the answer that there are no light bulbs. In restaurant is no children's corner here, for example, with toys. The staff was not welcoming and friendly. They didn't want to help. They don't care about your problems. They look at you like a donkey and don't understand what you are asking about. We asked the room for silence and an important call, the staff advised the lobby when all the tourists had left. Only one guy at the reception helped us when we asked for a taxi. A good children's room, but like the spa - in another building. Not recommended for normal guests, who want to get some quality and service.

We stayed for an extended weekend at first of may. The Junior suite was very pleasent surprise with Sauna, two rooms and a balcony. Room was decorated with a good taste and we could find many little details that improved our convenience. Such as drying cabinette, fridge, hair conditioner, shoehorn, nespresso and extra pillows. The bed was comfortable with these real soft hotell linen. We especially enjoyed the little kitchenette closet, it was pretty and useful. The spa was little crowded, but luckily they opened a second dressing&shower rooms for hotel quests. Breakfast serving was ok except there was only one place to fill up your juice and it caused queue. The location of this hotel is excellent, only few hundred meters from ski lifts and Levi village.

We had a brilliant week in the Levi Spa Hotel. We stayed in a Junior Suite, room 278. |At check in, take a ticket from the machine, you are seen in number order. |Reception area is large, with lots of seating. The staff are very friendly and helpful. |The dining room is in the same building as reception. The rooms are all in separate buildings nearby. The suites are in a block behind the main building. ||Location||Levi Spa Hotel is in a great location. It's 5 mins from the shops, restaurants and bars in Levi. You also have K supermarket, next door to K is a great rental shop for thermal suits, boots etc or snowmobiles! Over the road is a lovely gift shop. Also next to the supermarket is a chemist's. Take basics with you like antihistamines(about £7 for a box of 10 in the chemist) hydrocortisone cream, paracetamol, etc. I had an allergic reaction to the Rituals liquid soap in the room. The staff at reception were great, and the lady I spoke to got some sensitive skin products delivered to our room before we got back after breakfast. The best place to look for the Northern Lights is by the frozen lake, this is 5 - 7 mins walk from the hotel, absolute bonus to be that close as we went back and forth many times as the weather changed.||The Junior Suite ||Our suite was lovely. The bathroom has a great walk in shower and a large sauna. The toilet is separate. The large grey door opposite the coat/shoe racks is a drying cupboard, turn the dial at the top and dry your ski or swimwear. |The living room is spacious and comfortable to relax in. In the double door cupboard is a small fridge and bin the bottom, and in the top is the coolest tea/coffee space with sink. I've shown way too many people photos of that sink!! |At the end of the corridor, by the lift, is a microwave you can use. |The bedroom is a good size with a large wardrobe behind a sliding door. The bed felt hard when I sat on it BUT it wasn't,it was very comfortable. I have fibromyalgia and don't usually sleep well away from home. This was the exception! |There is a large balcony overlooking the outdoor part of the swimming pool & the ski slopes. The block and room was very quiet all week. ||Waterworld||Waterworld is included for guests of the Levi Spa. |Fabulous pools, jacuzzis, plunge pools, a flume, waterfall jet, outdoor pool and whirlpools. There are areas with water jets that give deep tissue massage to your muscles. All beautiful lit with changing colours. Saunas are in the changing room areas. In Finland you can't wear a swimsuits in saunas, you can wrap a towel round you. ||If you have a suite at the Levi Spa Hotel, you can get to the pool building through a corridor from the basement of the block. There are 2 receptions, if the 1st one is closed you have to walk through Burger King, also part of the hotel complex, to the other one, no one took any notice of us in our hotel robes and slippers! ||The Food||Both breakfast and dinner are buffet self service. You will see a sign on the hot food counter asking people to take only what they will eat. This is brilliant! I wish more hotels would do this. We didn't see loads of wasted food here, amazing. |At breakfast, there is a good selection of cheese, cold meats, smoked fish, a variety of breads and cereals. There is also a waffle making table for you to use. There is also bacon, eggs, small hotdog style sausages, beans, etc. ||I'm coeliac(gluten free) and lactose intolerant so food is always a worry when away. This hotel is brilliant! There's a dedicated gluten free table at breakfast with a toaster, which says only for GF. I'm still missing the cinnamon biscuits at breakfast! There is good allergy coding on all meals. Finland has a lot of lactose intolerant residents, so it was very easy to products. The hotel had a good selection of lactose free milk as well as dairy free alternatives. Staff we're very helpful, heating up milk so I could have a latte and answering my many questions, mostly "are you sure all these cheeses are lactose free"? And they were!||I would 100% go back to Finland, the people are lovely, I would love to visit Levi again & I would definitely stay at the...
