Maybe my mistake was to expect so much about this place since a friend told me that it was supposed to be the best pizza place in Levi. Being Italian, sorry but Carbonara "pizza" should be called something else.
Why do Finnish love to spoil all the Italian foods? The "Italian" salad, not Italian at all. The Hawaiian "pizza" they could take away your nationality for putting pineapple in a pizza. And so on...
Anyways, I ate the prosciutto pizza. It was quite burnt (which means the "pizzaiolo" isn't one), the tomato sauce was too sweet (it means that they use sugar instead of baking soda to take the acidity away), the muzzarella was almost nonexistent, and the presentation wasn't the best either...
I wanted to ask for gluten free but IT'S A REAL JOKE, first it cost +€3,50 and they put in the menu that "they can't guarantee it because they cook it at the same place as the normal". How does a restaurant not know the normal regulation for food contamination, especially for gluten free allergies that the cross contamination is very delicate!?!?

Read moreI had a disappointing experience at Pizza de Levi. The pizza was not to my taste — the tomato sauce was overwhelming, and there was far too little cheese. To make matters worse, I ordered a tiramisu (€12) but quickly approached the staff, just a minute later, to cancel it after learning it contained alcohol. Unfortunately, they refused, saying it was too late as the plate had already been prepared? I found the situation quite unfair, as the menu did not indicate that the tiramisu contained alcohol, as I approached the staff immediately after ordering, and as it was just a few minutes before the restaurant’s closing time. Realistically, if I hadn’t ordered it, the tiramisu might have ended up being discarded anyway, regardless of whether it had already been plated. Overall, I was disappointed with how this was handled and left feeling dissatisfied. I paid 44€ for one pizza and a drink + one tiramisu...
Read moreLanguage is clearly a barrier. When I ask for information about the food or drinks I expect more than just a waiter pointing at the menu. There was no questions about how the food was, if we wanted more water, or if we wanted to buy coffee or desert. The pizza was not done, the cheese was really high in fat and in combination with the fatty pepperoni the result was a pizza soup mess. The restaurant was cold (both doors wide open). And, please, DO NOT use those settings at the card terminal where the waiter passively aggressively expect you to tip with a 15% tip standard and the note "say thanks by...
