S'TEA Bubble Tea - Aix en Provence — Restaurant in Aix-en-Provence

Despite the amazing ratings, I was disappointed with my bubble tea that I purchased. For context, I have had many bubble teas (100+) and perhaps this has amplified my criticism.

Reasons for below average rating: Negatives: there were no sugar options ( I would prefer no sugar, example: no sugar, 25% sugar, 50%, 100% (full serving of sugar))

-the "cream cheese/milk foam" is not as described, it's whipped cream, very disappointing, (doesn't taste as good as cream cheese/奶霜/salted cream)

-the price is a little too high. For a drink with little customisation, I think the price is too much (perhaps the available customisations weren't displayed but may be available by request, so double-check 😊)

Positives: +beautiful business interior design (including great artwork!) +friendly staff +The tapioca pearls are really well made

We travelled to Aix and accidentally found this gems hidden in a small alley of the old quarter. The store’s design was colourful which caught our eyes immediately. We decided to try their Signatures-I had the Tutti Frutti and my friend had the panna cotta with bubble milk tea. It was not the first time we drink milk tea but this was definitely the first time those bubble drink blew our minds away. It was unlike anything we’ve tried before. Absolutely loved this bubble tea shop! The place itself is super cute, the service was very friendly and the bubble tea was simply delicious. I took a jasmine milk tea with tapioca, the pearls were bouncy and fresh, the tea had a delicate flavour and there were even some decorative flowers, to make your drink even prettier. There is a lot of choice, no matter your preference for classic boba or more fruity ones. Definitely the best place for boba in Aix! I wish I would stay longer to try more of their...
