Let me set the scene: you're from the United States and are here in Aix for a month on a study abroad. You miss home. All you want are strawberries and friendly people. You survive your first three weeks in the heat and lack of air conditioning and ice water. People speak a language you barely know, buildings are hot and full of people, and ice is as warm as cookies right out of an oven. Only good part is its automatically filtered. The flakiness of the crust, sweetness of the custard, and freshness of the strawberries fill your American taste buds with wonder and amazement. This, this you realize, is love! You finish your pizza and dream about your lunch for the hours to come. We've made our way in Aix; we have found our place! The next day, and for most days in your last week and a half, you are greeted with the yellow and white sign and lovely staff. Each day you pay your measly euros for the treat that is the experience ar Saint Sauveur Boulangerie. You are forever changed by that strawberry tart. Your life will never be the same and for that, you...
