After an amazing stroll through the markets on Saturday, we came across this hidden Italian restaurant along one of the charming alleys in Aix-en-Provence. Although they were full, a table was coincidentally waiting for us. The food was more than expected, the pasta with gambas and red tomato sauce reminded me of my extraordinary mother’s dish, which she was known for. The service was also great, Italians trying to make us feel like home. Atmosphere reminds me of the time I was lost in Rome, trying to experience the true Italian life. Please do not forget about the desserts, than they are the cherry on top of the cake. The tiramisu is to die for and the panna cota will be reminded forever. The gorgonzola gnocchi was very overcooked and bland (I thought was impossible for gorgonzola to be bland, but I was proven wrong!), and the asparagus and shrimp risotto was mediocre at best.
