La Casserole — Restaurant in Albertville

It was the first time in my life to make a complaint in a place, I can totally understand things can be late or somethings get mixed up but their DISRESPECT was way another level! We had been lied that our fondue is coming for an hour again and again, after only ‘fondue’ came we started asking for plates to eat it, for bread and for everything else but plates and bread basket was THROWN TO US! We were there with a crowded group of people, at least 8 people witnessed that and they all agree this was such a disrespectful behavior. Also we had our alone ‘fondue’ after everyone in our group already finished their meals. Another thing to keep in mind, they do mistakes in calculating the amount and make people pay for more!! The bill was 1876euros for our group and after making everybody pay, they said 173 euros missing. We paid that amount but it turned out with double payment’s and missed calculations, we were charged for more than 300euros for more!! JUST CHECK WHAT YOU EAT AND...

We decided to visit as a chalet group. When we arrived we were asked to sit in the back room which was so cold, they did move us to the front which was slightly warmer. We did have a heater which was behind us which did not work. Several attempts to get it working and eventually we gave up asking. Many of the group wanted oysters which were not available so we ordered a couple of charcuterie boards. These were quite tasty. I had a goats cheese salad which was quite nice. Several of the party had steaks, which were awful, gristly, chewey and generally not cooked well or decent cuts of beef. The beef casserole was ok but would have been nice served with veg etc. we mentioned we were unhappy at the end when we left to pay, we did get a sorry for that and the wine was ok, So an apology received but i doubt i would...

Don't like leaving bad reviews but this one needs to be addressed.

Extremely rude manager - very poor customer experience. Raclette for 4 people ordered and 2 tartiflettes. The tartiflettes arrived 15 minutes before the raclette. Leaving 2 of our party with their food finished before ours had arrived. Not ideal!

We had also asked to change the wine and once the raclette had arrived (after much time) the manager came to our table, shouting, being rude, insulting us and generally not being helpful. Despite all this, he eventually agreed to change the wine and give us a discount! There was no reason for him to treat his customers in that way.
