La Petite Lulu — Restaurant in Albertville

Very good new local restaurant in tignes. Cosy intimate feel to the place too. Menu is normal a la carte with around 4 or 5 options for each course (when you include the specials). Pea soup, snails and frog legs, lamb, and fish of the day all very well balanced and delicious. Friendly staff too. The only bit of advice I’d give to the restaurant is that there is a small section with two tables (see photo) where the lighting is much much brighter than the rest of the restaurant and they should fix that to ensure all of the place is cozy and welcoming. On a ski holiday and thought we’d try La Petite Lulu for dinner. We had the Pork fillet, Tartiflette for mains with a bottle of red wine. The food was lovely but service very poor. It took a very long time to be given the wine and food menu - staff seemed to be stretched. We asked for the bill twice and it took around 20mins before deciding to get up and pay at the reception. Absolument une honte, nous avions réservé pour 20h30 pour 5 personnes. Arrivés devant le restaurant on nous demande de patienter dehors car la table avant n'a pas terminé, aucun soucis surtout que pour patienter on nous offre le génépi. Sauf que cela commence par 15min puis 30min puis 1h30 à attendre dans le froid et à chaque fois "Excusez nous mais les gens prennent plus de temps à partir" et quand on leur dit que s'ils ne savent pas gérer deux services il ne faut pas le faire. Au bout d'1h30 d'attente nous n'avons même pas eu un mot gentil pour s'excuser. Heureusement nous avons réussi à trouver un restaurant ouvert à 22h en basse saison !
