My friend booked a reservation here and I’m so glad he did. We had a beautiful, cozy and delicious meal at La Table de Jeanne.
I don’t eat a lot of red meat, so I was a bit hesitant about the menu, but I found some delicious items for myself to enjoy.
Starter: Onion Soup 🔥 Light but very flavorful and served piping hot in a bowl.
Main: Cod Loin with Butternut Squash 🔥🔥 The Cod was one of my favorite meals in France and my favorite dish in Tignes. It was fresh and bursting with flavor. Still thinking about it now.
Dessert: Raspberry Sorbet 🔥 I’m not a big raspberry person, but this was delicious and I ate every bite. It was soaked in raspberry liquor.
Atmosphere: a very quaint and beautiful space that really comes together in the details. It transports you back in time to the time of kings and queens. The service was great as well and had a in-house sommelier that helped us with our wine selection.
Overall, this is a beautiful space and I had a wonderful meal there.

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and cosy feel. We have previously enjoyed fodue here. However, the French onion soup was flavourless, thank god for the pot of salt on the table. It is an absolute rip off for €18.
Do not order the ‘pork hot pot’ unless you enjoy runny stew. Served in a nice pot, upon opening the lid of the dish, I wish I hadn’t! Beige and watery, the pork was unappetising and did not get eaten.
The portion of Boar was small and chewy. We paid extra for a portion of French fries as the dish came with no potatoes. The ‘Fries’ were fragmented and were obviously the hard scraps that had accumulated throughout the day.
The restaurant has a fine dining feel but we left feeling ripped off, having left most of the food. Our meal was for an anniversary and we could not help feel dissapointed that we chose this restaurant. Only attend if you...
Read moreI became extremely sick after warning the kitchen twice about an allergy and being served two dishes with it included. Note: I ordered safely: a salad and steak, so the addition of the ingredient was wholly unnecessary. It was obvious on the steak, which I sent back, but they only scraped it off. On the salad I didn’t notice until becoming sick.
I understand mistakes happen, but it was ridiculous that the manager’s response was “well you didn’t tell us in advance”. The issue is that I let them know when ordering, let them know when the food came (they told me it was another ingredient) and when I sent back the steak (they didn’t re cook it, just scraped off...
