The food was great here. However one of us ordered the filet de boeuf rossini and they were out of stock so had to just have the plain filet. I ordered the entrecote but the bill said filet de boeuf. After challenging this twice they did eventually change the bill to the entrecote. The sauces were listed as included, but then when the bill came they were charged at €3 extra. I made a reservation for 9:30pm, got there early and they had my reservation wrong (they had it down for 6pm when the restaurant opens at 7pm). They were rude and defensive about the mistake. Sat us down, but then made us leave with very bad maners. Terrible by the staff, one of them didn’t want to speak in english/spanish to us so we couldn’t really understand what he was trying to say. We found ourselves at Les Clarins on all but one night of our stay in Val Thorens. Each meal left us satisfied and provided great options for food and drinks. Best escargot i've ever had! The beef cooking stone was also a highlight, which says a lot coming from someone who avoids restaurants that require me to cook my own food. And make sure to save some room for the crème brulee.
