Had a fantastic evening here as a party of 6. The restaurant was very busy but the excellent staff took care of us….as did the chef, each of our starters and mains were fantastic. Special mention to our waitress Laerke who had not worked there long but could describe each dish and was very professional. John really has cracked dining in Val Thorens, we visited his American diner a few nights ago and again the same qualities shone….excellent staff and super tasty food. We went on the 24th of december 2022, The staff was very nice and really took care of you! They all wore Christmas hats. The starters were amazing! The mussels were great and the Christmas menu too! The main was okay, the meat was over cooked. The Schnitzel was good though! The desserts were not good. It was kind of a pudding made with rice. It was a real Scandinavian dish. I always come back to Scandinavian! Whether it's just me and my partner or a big group of friends. We all love it. The food is my favourite in Val Thorens. It's incredibly good value and the food is delicious. You can easily spend more money in other restaurants in resort on food that is no where near as good. The service and atmosphere is by far the best. Staff are friendly, helpful, quick, passionate. It's a happy, thriving place and I always leave feeling well fed, well looked after usually very merry after some top quality cocktails....
