Proceed with caution. Our evening here did not meet our expectations. The service was significantly subpar and disheartening. The waitstaff appeared to question our decision to abstain from alcohol, and in turn, this seemed to influence the delay in our food service. They rationalized this by explaining that their establishment is a fine dining experience, not fast food, so the preparation of sushi would take an hour. Moreover, they implied that our choice of water as a beverage might have impacted the service speed.

We perceived an apparent disregard and lack of understanding towards us from our server, with hints of stereotyping. Their laughter at our expense and criticism of our interpretation of their European concept was disconcerting. This was a real experience that left us in disbelief.

Our dining commenced at 20:30 and our initial dish arrived close to 21:18. When we tried to cancel a later dish due to the extended wait, our request was initially denied.

Security Assault

Unprovoked Assault on teenagers for no reason, no one was in any way misbehaving or intoxicated whatsoever, it was very peaceful beforehand. After having grabbed a 18 year old girl and dragged her across the room I attempted to de-escalate the situation by talking. Sadly, physical violence seemed to be the only means of conflict solution. The aggravator (“head of security”) was uninterested and I was thrown to the ground between tables and sustained injuries on the leg and head as well as a large gash on my shoulder (see enclosed photo). This is unacceptable and illegal. Other members of staff confirmed that this ‘head of security’ (although his attire was not suggestive of the fact) was known to act aggressively unprovoked, yet seemed hesitant to act. I’m sure the management has nothing to do with this hesitance.

I do not post such reviews lightly. I have no need to lie or make up stories, the incident was also videotaped. I refuse to accept any claims that this is “one side of the story” as has been poorly attempted. After all, half the club left after...

A Disappointing Dining Experience

I recently visited Jackie Kitchen & Club and my experience left much to be desired. The slow and inattentive service was a major letdown. We repeatedly had to remind the staff to take our orders, bring drinks, and even our water was served from the tap. The waitresses seemed disengaged, and the bartender's unhygienic practice of grabbing glasses from the inside was unsettling.

The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was subpar; unwashed dishes and a messy environment contributed to an unappealing atmosphere. Our food arrived considerably late, only after we inquired about its whereabouts. Despite the delayed service, the dishes were disappointingly dirty, with noticeable spots indicating inadequate washing.

However, the saving grace was the quality of the food, which fell somewhere between mediocre and good. It's unfortunate that such a crucial aspect was overshadowed by the numerous service and hygiene issues.
