La Belle Epoque — Restaurant in Annecy

Very rude service. Mediocre and overpriced food. There are so many better choices than here. Again, horrible waitress. The food was more expensive than what was written on the menu. 2 sandwiches and 2 beers were 50 euros 😬

Edit for the review from the manager - we ordered a croque and the waitress asked if we wanted chips- the advertised price of croque was €10, and chips separately is €8.50 - when asked, we assumed it came with chips - when we got the bill, it was €14.80 over what was advertised- no where on the menu or was told about this... I would watch out for added cost that they don't tell you about, or advetise but basically feels made up as this doesn't align to the original costs on the menu?! Secondly, I tried to get the attention of staff 6 times, and she definitely saw me and ignored me- I tried to spend more money with you, but based on service, I moved around the corner. Based on other reviews- this is normal, and overall, staff need a do-over on etiquette. Further to this, a whole two course dinner in Annecy was €6 euros more than this awful place and was in the most amazing restaurant, prime locatio. (not here, obviously). AVOID THIS SCAM OF A PLACE.

We come here regularly for the lunch. Mostly locals eat here on their lunch breaks. The kids menu is great for little ones. The main menu is basic but very tasty, affordable, fresh, and quickly served. Excellent service, the staff are very friendly and efficient. Focus is on omelettes, salads, lasagnas, sandwiches, etc. so perfect for a light lunch or late breakfast. There is a special which is a popular choice and changes daily.
