Cycling between Cavaillon and Lauris we came across this great Cafe, being part of Le Domaine De Capelongue & Spa. Located in a beautiful setting at the entrance to the hotel it offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Welcome and overall service was friendly and efficient, with the waiter showing interest in our cycling tour and talking about hotel business in general....quite rare these days From the extensive menu we selected the Fleur de Gourgettes, Carpaccio de Tomates (one of the best heirloom tomatoes we have ever eaten!) and Tartare de Truite. All food was exquisite and well presented Definitely a venue where we will return and highly recommended to those after an excellent culinary experience in a natural setting

Excellent service and atmosphere. I ordered the "carré de porc" which was beautifully cooked. Served with seasonal vegetables. "Mille feuilles" was great as it wasn't super sugary and had a hint of orange zest on top. Discovered liqueurs de Provence "Farigoule", which is thym liquor. Not bad at all. Only feedback is that we would've loved for the food portions to be a bit more, maybe ordering sides can be recommended otherwise.

High expectations about the experience. We left the place looking each other like "what happened here?" About the food we've ordered, asparagus as appetizer, served with a bland mousse and nothing else (18€). The rack of pork (28€), a shiny piece of meat, simply seared, came with steamed greenpeas and zucchine. But the "winner" was the pasta and black truffle (38€), no truffles, just black olives paté, no parfum, no taste, beside butter, not even aromatized oil just to fool us around. The chef told us that the truffle has been frozen in november, and, eventually lost the fragrance since then. In this case, he should have taste it before put it on the (overpriced) menu, or simply, erase it....
