Creperie Chez Mam Goz — Restaurant in Arles

It was so good we went back.

I shamefully admit, this is the first time I'd had a crepe, I always thought they were just sweet with chocolate or icecream. Doh!

This is a pretty small place, and it fills up fast. Typically open from 1200 to 1400 then again from 1700 (common practice) you need to be quick off the mark if you want lunch. The second time we went we were able to reserve our table.

Our waiter (who seems to live there) was awesome, a younger lad full of beans, nothing could ruin his day, he was always smiling. He worked his butt off, we only actually saw him the whole time.

You can tell it's a spot for good humour, for at the bottom of the menu, you can read "daily specials depends on on the owners mood"... ha.

Long and short, the crepes were soooo freakin good... and unexpectedly filling, so fresh, so wholesome and cooked to perfection, in fact, they were so good we went back again another day... why else would you eat in the same place twice, when so much else is on offer unless it were really worth it.

There are many ways to waste time and money in life; I didn’t think a crêperie would be one of them. I ordered my egg well done but it was raw, I asked again but it came out still raw, and the third time it was raw once again. Ok, on vient de rentrer de cette crêperie, et franchement faut qu'on vous raconte !

Le serveur est top, vraiment très sympa et réactif ! Le service est rapide, a peine commandé, 10 minutes après c'est servis ! Le cadre est cool, calme, convivial est joli ! Les crêpes sont copieuses est vraimeeent bonnes, celles en sarrasins, comme les crêpes dessert ! Le rapport qualité prix est du coup plutôt vraiment pas mal ! Les bollets dans lesquels on boit le cidre sont marrant, je connaissais pas ! Avec la pluie dehors on se croirait vraiment en Bretagne :P

Enfin on a même pu goûter le digestif offert par le serveur, qui était vraiment bon (et local si j'ai bien compris :) )

Bref, je vous dis pas que c'est le meilleur resto de votre vie non plus, mais seulement que vous passerez un excellent moment, et un très bon repas, et que vous ressortirez avec le sourire ( le tout pour un prix largement convenable), que demander de plus à un restaurant ? :)
