We were a group of 4 and without reservation we could not have manage to get a table. Location of the restaurant is in narrow cosy street nearby the heart of the city center. We have ordered two tapas to start, 4 entryâs (oeuf parfait and mules) and to dinner âboeuf tigre qui pleureâ , 1 bottle of red wine and 4 coups of white wine. The food was good and well cooked , the ratatouille was well done . Why not a 4 or 5 stars? Service was a bit too long ( and they mistake in one order) but very nice, price was pushy (50 eur per person) , food quality could be taken to the next level on the main dishes (less potatoes and less ratatouille). Iâve never been to a restaurant where the chef also takes your order. His passion for cooking is lights up the room and the ambience made everyone feel right at home⊠if at home we ate like kings.
I ordered the oeuf parfait with the shiitake mushrooms and the crying tiger. The egg was perfect, unlike any egg Iâve had before. And, normally I donât like mushrooms, but the way it was prepared had everyone saucing their bowl with the bread. Not a crumb was left behind.
